The bout was marketed for Saturday in the U.S. and UK, but the estimated main-event time fell after midnight in Riyadh, making it Sunday, May 19, there.
When were the ring walks?
The published estimate was around 6:05 p.m. ET, or 11:05 p.m. BST. Sky Sports gave a broader estimate of around 11 p.m. UK time. These were estimates, not a guaranteed bell time: earlier bouts, introductions, interviews, delays, and broadcast timing can all shift a boxing main event. Viewers following the event live would have needed to tune in well before the estimate. Sky Sports’ schedule and the DAZN guide both presented approximate timing.

What was at stake, and what was the result?
The fight was billed as a four-belt undisputed heavyweight championship contest. Fury held the WBC title; Usyk held the WBA, IBF, and WBO belts. The WBC described it as the first undisputed heavyweight championship fight of the four-belt era and the first such contest since 1999. How this differs from Usyk–Fury 2
The December bout was a separate event with its own schedule and broadcast details. It took place on December 21, 2024, and Usyk won by unanimous decision. TNT Sports reported a 4 p.m. GMT broadcast start and a 5 p.m. GMT undercard start for the rematch; those times do not apply to the May fight. TNT Sports’ rematch schedule identifies that event separately.
