Yes, Twisters is available through Prime Video in the U.S., but that does not automatically mean it is included at no extra cost with an Amazon Prime membership. The U.S. Prime Video listing cited here showed the 2024 film as a UHD rental for $3.99 or a UHD purchase for $12.99. Prices and availability can change, so check the live title page before paying.
The phrase “Out of Oklahoma” refers to the film’s Oklahoma storm-chasing setting and to Lainey Wilson’s song “Out of Oklahoma” from Twisters: The Album—not to an official subtitle or announcement that the movie has left Oklahoma.

Is Twisters streaming on Prime Video?
In the U.S., Amazon has an official Prime Video listing for Twisters. The listing surfaced rental and purchase options rather than clearly confirming that the movie was included with a standard Prime subscription. You can view the title page at Prime Video.

Is Twisters free with Amazon Prime?
Not necessarily. “Available on Prime Video” can describe several different arrangements, and only one means that there is no separate movie charge for an eligible member.

How to watch Twisters on Prime Video
- Open Prime Video and search for Twisters (2024).
- Confirm the title is the film starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Glen Powell and Anthony Ramos.
- Inspect the offer button. Look specifically for “Watch with Prime,” “Rent,” “Buy” or “Subscribe.”
- Check the listed price, resolution, subtitles, audio and language options.
- Before selecting “Rent” or “Buy,” confirm that the displayed terms and price are acceptable.
Prime Video’s menus differ across browsers, smart TVs, game consoles and mobile apps, so searching for the exact title is more reliable than following a fixed menu path.
What does “Out of Oklahoma” mean?
It has two relevant meanings.
First, Twisters is centered on tornado country in Oklahoma. The story follows storm chasers during a major outbreak. Peacock’s official announcement describes Kate, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones, as someone who moves away from field storm chasing on the Oklahoma prairie to study storms remotely in New York before returning to the field. “Out of Oklahoma” can therefore work as shorthand for the film’s setting and Kate’s relationship with it.

Second, “Out of Oklahoma” is a Lainey Wilson song from Twisters: The Album. The track is listed by Peacock’s soundtrack guide and on Apple Music.
It is not the movie’s official subtitle, and the phrase should not be read as a literal distribution or plot announcement that Twisters has “left” Oklahoma.

Where else can you watch Twisters?
Peacock
Twisters first arrived on subscription streaming through Peacock on November 15, 2024, according to Peacock’s announcement. That establishes its original streaming destination, not a guarantee that it remains included with Peacock now. Check the current Peacock title page and plan terms.
Peacock is the most relevant alternative for viewers who already subscribe to the service or want its wider catalog. It may be less economical if you want only this one movie and would otherwise need to add a new recurring subscription.
Digital rental or purchase
Prime Video and other legal transactional video-on-demand services may offer the film for rental or purchase. A rental generally costs less upfront and suits a one-time viewing; a purchase costs more but is better suited to repeat viewing. Digital access remains dependent on the retailer’s platform and licensing arrangements.
Blu-ray and DVD
Physical editions can suit collectors, viewers with unreliable internet and anyone who prefers a durable copy or disc extras. Check the current stock, price, format and regional compatibility before buying. A compatible Blu-ray or DVD player is required.

The film is a standalone sequel to the 1996 movie Twister, designed to be understandable without watching the earlier film. Peacock’s official release announcement identifies it as a standalone sequel and details its cast and premise.

First, confirm that your account is searching for the 2024 film rather than another similarly named title. Then check your country’s Prime Video storefront, Peacock and other legal rental or purchase services. A U.S. listing does not establish availability in Canada, the U.K., Australia or any other market.
Do not rely on an old price, an old “free streaming” claim or the film’s 2024 Peacock launch date. Rights, prices, subscription status and playback options can change. The offer shown on the live service page for your location is the final authority.
