Peacock also confirms that Anthony Mackie and Stephanie Beatriz return as John Doe and Quiet.
Season 2 cast: characters and performers
Peacock’s official Season 2 cast list gives these character-performer pairings. It explicitly identifies Mackie and Beatriz as returning leads; it does not formally label every other character or performer as new.
| Character | Performer(s) listed by Peacock | What the official listing establishes |
|---|---|---|
| Calypso | Anthony Carrigan | Peacock’s synopsis identifies Calypso as the tournament host. |
| Axel | Michael James Shaw | Listed in the Season 2 cast. |
| Mayhem | Saylor Bell Curda | Listed in the Season 2 cast. |
| Vermin | Lisa Gilroy | Listed in the Season 2 cast. |

| Dollface | Tiana Okoye | Peacock’s synopsis describes Dollface as John Doe’s long-lost sister and a vigilante. |

| Sweet Tooth | Joe Seanoa and Will Arnett | Peacock lists both performers for Sweet Tooth. |
How the new characters fit the story
Season 2 picks up after the first-season finale. John Doe and Quiet enter a deadly tournament hosted by Calypso, while Dollface’s arrival complicates the story because she is John’s long-lost sister, according to Peacock’s synopsis.
What “new” means in the official cast list
The seven names at the top of the table are additional character-performer pairings named in Peacock’s Season 2 cast announcement. The announcement specifically calls Mackie and Beatriz returning, but does not provide a complete new-versus-returning classification for every other role. The cast list is therefore the clearest source for who is credited, not proof that every unlabelled character is newly introduced.
