Twisted Metal Season 2 brings familiar franchise names into a television story with its own character relationships and plot. Peacock’s season synopsis places John Doe and Quiet in Calypso’s deadly tournament and identifies Dollface as John’s long-lost sister. That sibling relationship is established for the show; the available sources do not establish it as game canon.
Who appears in Twisted Metal Season 2?
Peacock’s cast list confirms these Season 2 characters and performers. Its synopsis says John Doe and Quiet enter Calypso’s tournament, where the prize is a single wish, and describes Sweet Tooth as a returning murderous clown. The character details below distinguish what Peacock confirms about the series from what is established about the games.
| Character | Season 2 television details | What the sources establish about the game comparison |
|---|---|---|
| John Doe | Played by Anthony Mackie. He enters the tournament and reunites with his long-lost sister, Dollface. | GameSpot describes the show as an adaptation of Sony’s Twisted Metal game series. Its account of John’s citizenship and life in New San Francisco concerns his television arc, not game lore. |
| Quiet | Played by Stephanie Beatriz; she competes alongside John. | GameSpot reports that her goals in the show shift toward helping others and that she drives Roadkill. |
| Sweet Tooth | Joe Seanoa physically performs the character, while Will Arnett provides his voice. | GameSpot reports that tournament rules limit his ability to kill freely, frustrating him in Season 2. |
| Calypso | Played by Anthony Carrigan; he hosts the tournament. | Peacock describes the TV tournament as a deadly demolition derby with a wish as its prize. The sources do not provide a full game-to-show biography comparison for him. |
| Dollface | Played by Tiana Okoye; Peacock calls her John Doe’s long-lost sister and a vigilante. | The available sources do not establish that she is John’s sister in the games. |
| Axel | Played by Michael James Shaw. | Peacock confirms the casting; the available sources do not establish a fuller game-to-show biography comparison. |
| Mayhem | Played by Saylor Bell Curda. | Peacock confirms the casting; the available sources do not establish a fuller game-to-show biography comparison. |
| Vermin | Played by Lisa Gilroy. | Peacock confirms the casting; the available sources do not establish a fuller game-to-show biography comparison. |
| Mr. Grimm | Played by Richard de Klerk. | Peacock confirms the casting; the available sources do not establish a fuller game-to-show biography comparison. |
| Raven | Played by Patty Guggenheim. | Peacock confirms the casting; the available sources do not establish a fuller game-to-show biography comparison. |

How does the TV show differ from the games?
The series adapts the Twisted Metal video-game franchise, and Calypso’s tournament is a recognizable franchise premise. But a shared name does not, by itself, prove that a show character has the same biography, relationships, or plot as a game character. Peacock’s synopsis and GameSpot’s reporting describe the television continuity; they do not provide a definitive game biography for every name in the Season 2 cast.

John Doe and Quiet have show-specific Season 2 arcs
GameSpot reports that John has earned citizenship in New San Francisco and lives within its structured environment, while missing the open-road life he had before. Quiet’s focus has shifted from revenge toward helping others, and she spends more time driving Roadkill. These are descriptions of their TV-story development, not claims about game canon.
Dollface is John’s sister in the television series
Peacock identifies Dollface as John Doe’s long-lost sister and a vigilante. That is the relationship given in the show’s synopsis. The cited sources do not verify that the same relationship exists in the games, so it should not be presented as an established game detail.

Calypso’s tournament changes Sweet Tooth’s options
In the Season 2 account reported by GameSpot, Calypso’s rules prevent Sweet Tooth from simply killing opponents as he did in Season 1. The restriction frustrates him. This is a season-specific TV conflict, rather than evidence about how a game character behaves.
What is Calypso’s Season 2 tournament?
Peacock’s synopsis places John and Quiet in a deadly tournament hosted by Calypso, with a single wish as the prize. In a season description quoted by Peacock, executive producer, showrunner, and writer Michael John Smith says the competitors face “16 other drivers” with wishes of their own. That number describes the fictional contest, not a real-world statistic.
