What did Gill say at the 2024 court hearing?
At a 2024 court hearing related to the crash that killed his father, Gill addressed the driver involved. The Associated Press reported him saying, “I forgive you, and I hope that you forgive yourself.” AP also quoted Gill describing his father as “everything” to their family. Both remarks belong to the context of Gill speaking about the crash and the family’s grief, rather than serving as a broader account of his life.

Williams wrote Air Show!, a picture book illustrated by Robert Neubecker. In the story, characters named Ellie and her brother Gill accompany their pilot father to an air show. The use of the children’s names connects the book to the family, but its story is a work of children’s literature—not a complete or factual biography of Gill and Ellie.
Kirkus identifies the book as a 40-page picture book released June 15, 2010, by Disney-Hyperion. Its ISBN is 978-1-4231-1185-6. Reading Rockets’ book listing also identifies Williams as author and Neubecker as illustrator.
