Travis Kelce was photographed playing golf at Wynn Golf Club in Las Vegas on February 20, 2024, while Taylor Swift was in Sydney for the Australian leg of her Eras Tour. At first, his trip to Australia was only a possibility; later reports said he traveled to Sydney and arrived ahead of Swift’s concerts.
Kelce’s Las Vegas golf outing
Us Weekly reported that Kelce played at Wynn Golf Club on Tuesday, February 20. The outlet attributed a photo to Jasmin Medar, Wynn Las Vegas’s director of VIP relations and creative marketing, and said her Instagram Story marked the location as the club’s “17th hole.”
The report described Kelce wearing a striped golf shirt and white trousers. It did not identify any golf equipment brand or model, so the outing is not evidence that he used or endorsed a particular product. Us Weekly’s February 21 report covered the sighting.
Swift’s Sydney shows and the travel question
Swift was in Sydney for four scheduled Eras Tour performances at Accor Stadium, beginning Friday, February 23, 2024. When the golf outing was first reported, Kelce’s plans to travel from Las Vegas to see her were still uncertain.
#1 Best Overall
- The Strata 12-Piece Men's is designed to give you maximum performance right out of the box for more confidence from tee-to-green. The lightweight 460cc forged driver, fairway wood, hybrid, irons and putter make up a set that provides a great combination of distance, forgiveness and control, and is very easy to hit.
Us Weekly quoted Kelce’s father, Ed, speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald: “He said he’d really like to see Sydney and Singapore, but he wasn’t sure because he has commitments.” That comment described Kelce’s interest and uncertainty at the time; it did not confirm his itinerary. The initial report also noted the timing of Swift’s scheduled concerts.
What later reports said about Kelce’s arrival
Coverage changed after the Las Vegas sighting. Us Weekly subsequently reported that Kelce traveled from Las Vegas to Australia and that Australian television showed footage of him leaving a plane in Sydney. The Los Angeles Times also reported his arrival on Thursday, February 22, ahead of the shows, and described a route through Los Angeles and Hawaii.

Those later reports confirmed that he made the trip; they should not be confused with the earlier report, which raised the possibility without establishing that he had left Las Vegas. Read Us Weekly’s arrival report and the Los Angeles Times account.
