Larson is back in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis as both a mercenary working for Natla and a flirtatious foil for Lara Croft. The official character feature describes mutual crushes and on-screen chemistry, but presents romance as a possibility in another universe—not as a confirmed relationship in the game.
Who is Larson in Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis?
Larson is a returning Tomb Raider rogue, portrayed in the new game by Bradley Snedeker. Game Director Raul Siqueira describes him as a mercenary working for Natla, tasked with contacting Lara and setting her on the trail of the Scion. The official Meet Larson feature, published October 5, 2026, also says Larson and Natla have an ulterior motive: they intend to betray Lara. Larson works alongside Pierre Dupont, another of Natla’s associates.
That gives Larson two roles in the story: he is an antagonist advancing Natla’s plan, and a character whose personal rapport with Lara adds a teasing, more playful note to their conflict.
Does Lara have a crush on Larson?
According to Lara performer Alix Wilton Regan, yes—and the attraction is mutual. She says, “Lara has a bit of a crush on Larson, and Larson has a bit of a crush on Lara. Maybe in another universe, something might have happened there.” That last qualification matters: the comment suggests romantic potential, not a canon romance or a promise that the two become a couple.

Experience Director Jeff Adams also points to chemistry between Snedeker and Wilton Regan, saying the actors “play off each other” and that their dynamic should come through on screen. It helps explain why the relationship can feel flirtatious even while Larson is working against Lara.
Is Larson really Lara’s equal?
Larson considers himself Lara’s counterpart, but Wilton Regan sharply distinguishes his self-image from her assessment: “Larson thinks that he is my male counterpart, but he’s really not.” She calls him “the closest thing to her equal in terms of capabilities,” then immediately adds, “He does mess up a lot, though, so maybe not.”

The contrast is part of the character dynamic. Larson can match Lara closely enough to create a charged rivalry, but the official description does not present him as her unquestioned equal. His swagger and his mistakes sit side by side.

Legacy of Atlantis is a reimagining of Lara Croft’s 1996 debut, announced by Crystal Dynamics in December 2025 alongside Tomb Raider: Catalyst, a separate new chapter. In Legacy of Atlantis, Natla is positioned as Lara’s central rival. The official Meet Natla feature describes a conflict between two determined, capable women pursuing opposing goals; Larson’s role as Natla’s hired gun places his flirtation with Lara inside that larger contest, rather than outside it.
