Tokyo Revengers Season 2 has already been released. The anime’s second-season story is officially known as the Christmas Showdown Arc (Seiya Kessen-hen). It premiered in Japan on January 7, 2023, at 27:00 JST, which means the first episode became available at 3:00 a.m. JST on January 8, 2023 in ordinary calendar time. Episodes followed weekly.
Where to watch Tokyo Revengers Season 2
Streaming rights depend on your country, and catalogs can change. The safest approach is to search for both Tokyo Revengers and Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc on the service available in your territory.

United States: Hulu
In the United States, Hulu is the primary service to check. Hulu’s current series listing identifies Tokyo Revengers as a two-season, 50-episode anime and describes Takemichi’s conflict with the Black Dragon gang.
Search Hulu for Tokyo Revengers rather than relying only on a general anime search. The currently indexed Hulu listing is labeled Tokyo Revengers (Eng Dub), so check the audio and subtitle options shown in the player before starting. The available language tracks may not be identical across every episode or subscription catalog.

Outside the United States: Disney+
Disney’s distribution agreement with Kodansha made the Christmas Showdown Arc available through Disney+ in Japan and through Disney+ or Disney+ Hotstar in many markets outside the relevant regional exceptions. The exact catalog is territory-dependent.
Disney+ currently lists Tokyo Revengers (Eng) as a 2023 anime with two seasons and displays Season 2 episode entries, including the Christmas Showdown episodes. If you do not see the title, try searching the alternate arc name or check the Disney+ catalog for your country while signed in.
Disney+ displays subtitle and closed-caption information on the title page, but language availability can vary by location and episode. Confirm the language selector before subscribing specifically to watch this series.
What was the Season 2 release date?
The official anime site announced the following Japanese release schedule:
- Premiere: January 7, 2023, at 27:00 JST
- Conventional calendar time: 3:00 a.m. JST on January 8, 2023
- Release pattern: weekly episodes
- Story arc: the Christmas Showdown Arc
Japanese television schedules often use times beyond midnight. In that convention, “January 7 at 27:00” means three o’clock in the morning after midnight—in other words, January 8 at 3:00 a.m. JST. This is why release-date listings may appear to disagree even when they describe the same premiere.

Season 2 is therefore not an upcoming release. It premiered more than three years ago. A later Three Titans War Arc is listed separately by the official anime site with a broadcast beginning October 2, 2026; that is not the release date for the Christmas Showdown Arc and should not be confused with Season 2.
Why streaming services show different season or episode numbers
The terms “Season 2” and “Christmas Showdown Arc” are not always used in exactly the same way by streaming platforms. Kodansha’s licensing information distinguishes the Christmas Showdown Arc from the later Tenjiku Arc. Platforms, however, may group multiple arcs under a broader Season 2 listing.
The Christmas Showdown portion is identifiable on Disney+ as a 13-episode sequence ending with the episode “When It Rains, It Pours.” The same Disney+ page then continues with additional entries under its broader Season 2 display. Hulu’s current listing also presents the anime as two seasons and 50 episodes.
If a service appears to have more than 13 Season 2 episodes, that does not necessarily mean the Christmas Showdown Arc is longer on that platform. Check the episode titles and story-arc labels. Searching for “Christmas Showdown Arc” is more reliable than using the season number alone.
What is Season 2 about?
The Christmas Showdown Arc continues Takemichi Hanagaki’s attempt to change a future in which Hinata Tachibana dies. His efforts lead him into a conflict with the Black Dragon, a powerful gang connected to the increasingly corrupt future of the Tokyo Manji Gang.

The arc expands the series’ time-leaping premise into a more dangerous gang conflict. Takemichi must understand how the Black Dragon affects the people around him, determine which events can still be changed, and try to protect Hinata without knowing whether altering one part of the timeline will create another catastrophe.
That premise makes the Christmas Showdown Arc a direct continuation of the first season rather than a separate reboot or side story. Viewers should watch the original season first if they want the character relationships, time-travel rules, and gang history to have their full context.

- Check your region first. Sign in to the streaming service you already use, because search results and rights differ by country.
- Search both names. Use Tokyo Revengers, Tokyo Revengers Season 2, and Tokyo Revengers: Christmas Showdown Arc.
- Inspect the episode list. Look for the Christmas Showdown sequence and, where applicable, the episode ending with “When It Rains, It Pours.”
- Check audio and subtitles. Do not assume that an English dub, Japanese audio track, or particular subtitle language is included in every territory.
- Verify the catalog immediately before subscribing. Licensing, episode grouping, and language options are changeable.
Can you watch it on Crunchyroll?
Do not assume that Crunchyroll carries Season 2 simply because it has or has had listings for the original Tokyo Revengers episodes. The available evidence for this article confirms the original series’ first 13 episode entries on Crunchyroll but does not reliably establish current availability of the Christmas Showdown Arc there.
For a current legal viewing check, search Hulu in the U.S. or Disney+ in supported international markets first. If you use another service, confirm that its episode list actually includes the Christmas Showdown Arc rather than only the first season.
Physical editions and the manga
Streaming is not the only option. The official anime product information lists dedicated Blu-ray and DVD releases for the Christmas Showdown Arc, including three volumes. Collectors can look for the Tokyo Revengers Christmas Showdown Blu-ray or DVD releases as an offline alternative.
Before buying an imported or marketplace edition, check the disc format, region compatibility, subtitles, audio tracks, seller information, and return policy. The official product listing confirms the releases but does not by itself establish current U.S. stock, price, or compatibility with North American players.

The Tokyo Revengers manga is another option for readers who want to compare the source material with the anime or continue beyond what they have watched. Exact manga-volume boundaries for the anime’s Season 2 endpoint were not verified here, so buyers should not assume that a particular volume begins or ends precisely where the streaming season does.
Is the anime Season 2 the same as Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween?
No. The live-action film sequel Tokyo Revengers 2: Bloody Halloween is separate from the anime’s second season. The anime’s relevant title is the Christmas Showdown Arc, and it follows the animated television series’ own adaptation structure.
