Spoilers for the completed Tokyo Revengers manga. In ciatr’s full-series editorial ranking, Manjiro “Mikey” Sano is first, followed by South Terano, Izana Kurokawa, Draken, and Taiju Shiba. That order is an argued fan ranking—not an official franchise power scale. It weighs whom characters defeat and how others assess them, with performance in difficult fights and consistency across arcs also considered here.
How this ranking works
The manga ended in November 2022, so this list considers the completed story rather than stopping at an earlier anime point. Ciatr’s September 23, 2026, top-30 article supplies the reference order and says its judgment rests chiefly on victories and evaluations by other characters. This ranking follows that starting point while treating reputation, difficult or multi-opponent fights, and consistency across arcs as useful additional context—not as an official rubric.

A clean win carries more weight than a stalemate, an interrupted fight, or a clash heavily shaped by circumstance. These distinctions matter especially among the fighters near the top: changing how much weight goes to raw dominance, matchup context, or consistency could reasonably shift South, Izana, Draken, Taiju, and Senju.
TV Tokyo’s official profile calls Mikey “小柄ながら『無敵のマイキー』の異名を持つ最強の男,” which translates as “Though small in stature, he is the strongest man known as ‘Invincible Mikey.’” That establishes his in-story reputation; it does not rank every character against one another. The official anime site identifies South as Rokuhara Tandai’s leader in its announcement about the Three Deities War adaptation, but that role is context, not a separate strength verdict.

#1 Best Overall
The 15 strongest Tokyo Revengers characters
1. Manjiro Sano (Mikey)
Mikey is the clearest choice for the top spot. His standing as Toman’s leader and the “Invincible Mikey” is explicitly supported by TV Tokyo’s official character profile, while ciatr points to his wins over major fighters and his performance across the completed story. The title is more than reputation: his results repeatedly place him at the center of the manga’s highest-level confrontations.
2. South Terano
South’s case rests on forceful performances against elite opponents. Ciatr highlights his dominance over Draken and his clashes with Senju and the Wakasa–Benkei pair. Those matchups make him one of the strongest challengers to Mikey, even though a different weighting of matchup circumstances could change his exact position.
3. Izana Kurokawa
Izana’s strongest evidence is his fight with Mikey: he initially reads and counters Mikey’s attacks before ultimately losing. That performance gives him a particularly strong claim among the series’ top fighters, while the final outcome keeps him below Mikey in this ordering.
Rank #2
4. Ken Ryuguji (Draken)
Draken combines a formidable reputation with endurance and performances against strong opponents and large groups. Ciatr uses these qualities to place him fourth. His high position reflects sustained capability, though the order above him favors the more decisive or exceptional showings associated with South and Izana.

Taiju’s physical power and ability to fight several Toman members make him a major threat. Ciatr also points to his later bout involving Wakasa and Benkei. His combination of strength and difficult matchups earns the final place in this ranking’s top five.
6. Senju Kawaragi
Senju’s movement and performance against South stand out in the reference ranking, as does her role in the final conflict. Those showings put her among the strongest fighters, just below the top five. Her placement is particularly sensitive to how a ranking weighs performance in specific matchups against an overall record.
Rank #3
7. Wakasa Imaushi
Wakasa is characterized by speed and is cited for his role in fights alongside Benkei. His partnership is an important part of his case; the available basis for this position is less about a broad set of independently established victories than about his fighting style and those team matchups.
8. Keizo Arashi (Benkei)
Benkei’s durability and partnership with Wakasa support his place in the upper tier. Ciatr treats the pair’s clashes as relevant evidence for both fighters. Separating their contributions is difficult, so this position should be read as an editorial distinction within a formidable duo rather than a settled gap between them.
9. Kakucho
Kakucho’s fighting record and standing in the story place him among the strongest. Ciatr ranks him ninth, though the available profile detail is less extensive than for the top five. This position reflects his established status without assigning him an unsupported feat or numerical strength score.
Rank #4
10. Shuji Hanma
Hanma rounds out the top ten in ciatr’s order, with durability and matchup performance supporting his inclusion. Where fights are prolonged or shaped by their circumstances, they should not be treated as interchangeable with a decisive win; that distinction helps keep this ranking cautious about what his placement proves.
11. Keisuke Baji
Baji is placed eleventh in the reference ranking. The source’s available discussion provides less detailed evidence for the lower entries than it does for the leading fighters, so his position is best understood as part of ciatr’s overall editorial ordering rather than as a claim based on a single decisive comparison.
12. Yasuhiro Muto (Mucho)
Mucho takes twelfth place in ciatr’s list. The reference ranking places him among the series’ strongest, but the evidence available here does not support expanding that placement into a detailed feat-by-feat argument.

13. Souya Kawata (Angry)
Angry is thirteenth in the reference order. As with the other lower-ranked entries, the available source gives less detailed comparative reasoning than it does for the top tier; this is an editorial placement, not an official position in a canon ranking.
14. Haruki Hayashida (Pah-chin)
Pah-chin is fourteenth in ciatr’s ranking. His inclusion reflects the source’s overall ordering, but the supporting detail available for this entry is limited, so no additional fight claim is needed to make the placement appear more certain than it is.
15. Ryohei Hayashi (Peh-yan)
Peh-yan completes the fifteen at number fifteen in the reference list. This final place marks the edge of the selected group, not a measurable strength threshold separating him from every other character in the manga.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why another ranking might look different
Strength in Tokyo Revengers is argued from fights and character judgments, not measured on a shared numerical scale. A list that prioritizes head-to-head outcomes may sort the leading fighters differently from one that emphasizes reputation, the quality of opponents, or resilience in a multi-person fight. Interrupted clashes and matchup circumstances also complicate comparisons. Ciatr’s ordering is a useful, explicit point of reference, but the exact places—particularly among the leading challengers to Mikey—remain interpretive.
