Why each group works
SETTLE DOWN!
EASY, ENOUGH, QUIET and RELAX can all be used as commands or expressions asking someone to calm down, lower the intensity or stop making a disturbance.
MINOR AILMENTS
BUG, CHILL, COLD and COUGH are familiar words for relatively minor illnesses or symptoms. Their everyday usage makes this set easy to confuse with other possible groupings.

WHAT HUMPBACK WHALES DO
BREACH, DIVE, SING and SPOUT describe observable humpback-whale actions: a whale can leap from the water, submerge, produce its well-known songs and force air and water vapor from its blowhole.
___ CITY NICKNAMES
Add CITY after each word: Magic City, Motor City, Sin City and Windy City. This is a phrase-completion category rather than a shared definition.

A practical solving order
- Start with EASY, ENOUGH, QUIET and RELAX; their calming-command function is the most direct connection.
- Separate BUG, CHILL, COLD and COUGH as the health-related terms.
- Look for the animal-behavior set: BREACH, DIVE, SING and SPOUT are all things humpback whales do.
- The four remaining words complete well-known nicknames when followed by CITY: MAGIC, MOTOR, SIN and WINDY.
The puzzle’s difficulty comes from ordinary words that can suggest more than one connection. Checking both grammatical role and meaning helps: the first group is made of commands, the second concerns health, the third concerns whale behavior, and the final group relies on a fixed phrase.
