Which Tissot PRX Grendizer watch is the new release?
Tissot’s pressroom says the first PRX Grendizer edition was released in 2024. The later PRX UFO Robot Grendizer 50th Anniversary is the tribute edition, tied to the 50th anniversary of the character’s creation in 1975. The two watches have distinct references and finishes, so a listing that says only “Grendizer PRX” may not identify which edition it means. Tissot’s PRX collection and the individual product pages identify the specific models.
Tissot describes the anniversary edition as a return after the first model: “After the success of the first PRX Grendizer edition released in 2024, the legend blazes back like a comet of nostalgia, orbiting through decades of imagination and innovation to inspire once more.” This is brand language from Tissot’s pressroom, not a quotation from a named individual. Both references are 40 mm automatic PRX watches with a listed thickness of 10.93 mm, a date display, a Nivachron balance spring and up to 80 hours of power reserve. “Up to” is Tissot’s stated maximum reserve; it is not a promise of identical running time in every use condition. The two editions do not have identical crystal and case details, so consult the page for the exact reference rather than assuming all finishes and coatings are shared.

50th Anniversary edition
The black PVD T1374073305101 adds an 18K gold Harken-style seconds hand and comes with a Spazer-inspired presentation capsule. Its numbered 1,975-piece run makes it a distinct limited edition rather than a routine dial or color variation.
