A24 has shared new poster artwork for You Can See Everything, its documentary about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes, directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim. The film’s announced theatrical release date is October 16, 2026, though local release schedules may differ.
What the new poster signals
The artwork has prompted viewers in an online discussion to call it unsettling. That is a community reaction, not an official description from A24. The poster establishes a new promotional image for the film; it does not, by itself, mean a consumer version is available to buy. VVS Films lists teaser-poster files among its press assets.
What You Can See Everything is about
A24’s official synopsis says: “Thirty-four days before she’s sent to prison, notorious Silicon Valley founder Elizabeth Holmes invites a skeptical film crew to document her every move.” The studio says what begins as an intimate portrait becomes a three-year journey. The Associated Press has also reported that the documentary was filmed secretly over three years and follows Holmes during the 34 days before she reported to prison.
The film’s premise centers on the crew’s access to Holmes and the extended period of filming. Its marketing language describes the intended framing; it should not be read as an independent finding about Holmes or the events surrounding Theranos.

Who made the documentary?
A24 credits Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim as directors. Fielder is known for work that often plays with the boundary between staged situations and documentary observation; here, the official premise puts that tension in the foreground by pairing an invited film crew with a subject described as notorious and a skeptical crew.
When and where can you see it?
A24 and VVS Films list October 16, 2026, as the theatrical release date, and the Associated Press reported the same announced date. That is the announced release, not confirmation that every country or local cinema will open the film simultaneously.

The film has screened at festivals ahead of its theatrical release. The Associated Press reported a surprise screening at Telluride on September 6, 2026. Film at Lincoln Center lists a New York Film Festival premiere on September 30, 2026, with a Q&A featuring both directors.

The runtime is not consistent across the current listings: VVS Films gives 175 minutes, while Film at Lincoln Center gives 174 minutes. Neither listing establishes that these are different cuts, so the one-minute difference is best treated as a discrepancy between listings rather than evidence of a distinct version.

- LOCATION SOUND KIT — SHORT SHOTGUN, PISTOL GRIP, WINDSHIELD, COILED XLR, CLOSED-BACK MONITORING: Location dialogue needs more than the shotgun alone — Rycote suspension to kill handling noise, a windshield for wind, a coiled XLR, and sealed headphones for live monitoring. This bundle pairs the Rode NTG5 short shotgun with the PG2-R pistol grip, WS10 windshield, PG2-R Pro coiled XLR, and StreamEye Cans50 closed-back headphones. Documentary crews, wedding videographers, and indie boom ops — load the bag and shoot.
- BROADCAST SHOTGUN MICROPHONE WITH SEALED CONFIDENCE MONITORING: Built for boom operators, location sound mixers, documentary recordists, and ENG dialogue crews, the NTG5 delivers 10 dBA self-noise supercardioid pickup over a standard 48V phantom XLR while the Cans50 closed-back headphones seal in the recorder's headphone feed so the operator catches off-axis bleed and floor noise on the take. Hear it now, not in post.
- 10 DBA SELF-NOISE SHORT SHOTGUN FOR FILMMAKING, DOCUMENTARY, AND VIDEOGRAPHY: At 10 dBA A-weighted (IEC651), the NTG5 sits among the quietest broadcast short shotguns in production. Whispered dialogue and ambient room detail land usable on the recorder. 130 dB Max SPL covers shouted lines without distortion. 20 Hz to 20 kHz response, ±3 dB held from 80 Hz to 20 kHz.
- CIRCULAR-PORT ACOUSTIC DESIGN AND RF-BIAS CIRCUITRY FOR RUN-AND-GUN OUTDOOR WORK: Concentric ports replace traditional linear slots — flatter on-axis response, smoother off-axis transition, no tone shift as actors turn. RF-bias circuitry isolates the capsule from humidity, rain, dust, and cold that kill conventional condensers. Conformal-coated PCB inside an anodized aluminum body.
- PG2-R PISTOL GRIP WITH RYCOTE LYRE SUSPENSION — 2.7 OZ CAPSULE HELD FOR FULL SCENES: The included PG2-R pistol grip mounts the NTG5 in a Rycote Lyre suspension that decouples handling noise from the capsule. 2.7-ounce capsule weight and 7.99-inch length keep the boom rig under half the mass of a long-shotgun setup. Operators report holding overhead through 90-minute scenes without fatigue.
