Thieves Highway is Jesse V. Johnson’s 2025 crime-action Western about an Oklahoma lawman caught in the path of cattle smugglers. Aaron Eckhart stars as Frank Bennett. Hulu and Apple TV list the film, while Amazon Prime Video identifies a DVD format; availability depends on territory and can change.
What is Thieves Highway about?
Set in rural Oklahoma, the film follows lawman Frank Bennett after he discovers a gang’s plan to smuggle stolen cattle. The rustlers are headed for the border, and Frank becomes the obstacle in their way. The story is framed as a stripped-down pursuit and survival thriller: he is isolated, without cell service or his truck, while facing a dangerous gang. The distributor’s synopsis describes the stolen-cattle operation and setting; Hulu likewise summarizes the armed run for the border. Rialto Distribution | Hulu
