What is Season 3 about?
Spoiler-light premise: The season picks up after Jacob returns from the 1800s, as the Landrys try to help him reenter life in the present. Kat is still grappling with the mystery around Jacob and the loss of Elliot. Alice is back from summer with her father and seems ready to leave music behind for a professional path, while Del tries to preserve family traditions and adjust to a changing household.

Season 3 plot details (spoilers)
The family gives the public a false account of Jacob’s past while privately protecting the secret of the pond. Kat travels back to the 1800s to tell Elijah that Jacob is safe and faces Thomas. In the present, Del begins to consider a romance with her neighbor Sam.
Alice’s musical path shifts when Del finds an old Colton demo. Alice then encounters a 1974 record that connects her voice to her grandfather’s and to the summer when he and Del fell in love. The season also suggests someone else may be using the pond. Alice’s questions about Casey and a ring add another mystery: she wonders whether Casey could be from the future and related to the Landrys, but the season’s setup should not be mistaken for a confirmed answer.
