The View moved to a new studio in September 2024, opening Season 28 from Studio B at Disney’s 7 Hudson Square headquarters in Manhattan. Ginger Zee’s exclusive behind-the-scenes feature offered a look at a set built around a familiar hosts’ table and a strikingly adaptable, screen-filled environment.
Where is The View filmed now?
Since its Season 28 debut in September 2024, The View has been filmed in Studio B at Disney’s 7 Hudson Square headquarters in Hudson Square, Manhattan. ABC News published Ginger Zee’s exclusive behind-the-scenes feature on September 6, 2024, shortly after the September 3 season premiere. ABC News’ studio feature and TVLine’s premiere coverage document the move.
What does the new studio look like?
The set pairs the familiar central table with a two-story, video-led backdrop. Rather than relying on a single fixed scenic design, the studio uses LED screens and graphics to change the atmosphere around the hosts for different topics, shows, seasons and events.
Executive producer Brian Teta told TVLine that the production kept the table, which had been new the previous season: “We kept the table, because that was new last year, and that remains the centerpiece as always.” The table is the visual anchor; the rest of the set received a modern redesign.

How can the set change on air?
NewscastStudio’s October 2024 report describes 28 screens, including a floor display, as well as movable scenic pieces. Screen graphics can shift the set’s look, while screen columns can travel on and offstage. A large staircase mounted on air casters can also be repositioned or moved away. These elements give the production options for changing the stage without replacing its central layout.
Senior production designer Seth Easter described the design goal to NewscastStudio: “You’ll notice that the new set is very video-heavy. The request was the ability to have an environment that could change easily from show to show.”

What technology is behind the displays?
NewscastStudio reports that the project includes LED screens with pixel pitches of 1.25–1.5 mm, a 3.9 mm LED floor and selected 5.6 mm screens. Easter gave the project totals as 10,700 tiles and 674 million pixels. Those are figures reported for this specific facility and attributed to the production designer, not independently audited performance measurements.
The industry report names NovaStar MX6000 as the processing system and Ross Video’s XPression Tessera as the system used to handle screen templates. Fuse Technical Group and DetaiLED Solutions supplied custom LED display technology; Fuse is also credited with LED integration. These are broadcast-facility systems selected for a bespoke production environment, not a guide to consumer studio gear.
