The Talk ended its CBS run on December 20, 2024, closing out a shortened 15th season. CBS had announced the conclusion on April 12, 2024, but the network did not name the finale date until November.
When did The Talk end?
The final episode aired Friday, December 20, 2024. The last week of live programs ran December 16–20, with the finale broadcast on CBS. Paramount Press Express also listed Paramount+ as a streaming option for that week; that was a 2024 announcement and does not confirm the finale’s current availability in the service’s catalog.
The April announcement gave only December 2024 as the end point. The more specific schedule came in a November 26 release from Paramount Press Express, which named the final week and December 20 finale date.
Why did CBS end the show?
CBS announced that the show would conclude after 15 seasons but did not state a specific business reason in its announcement. The available statements do not establish that ratings caused the decision, so it would be misleading to present ratings as the explanation.
