The episode listed in Prime Video’s catalog as “Last Call” picks up in the aftermath of Belly and Jeremiah’s wedding plans. Belly makes a choice that changes her future: a recap published the following day identifies it as a spontaneous trip to France. “The Day After Tomorrow” is the title supplied for this recap, not the episode’s official catalog title.
What happens in Season 3, Episode 9?
Prime Video’s synopsis frames “Last Call” around the fallout from the wedding and a consequential decision by Belly. It also follows Jeremiah as he struggles to make peace with Conrad and accept his changed circumstances. A September 3, 2025 recap by TechRadar reports that the planned wedding does not happen and that Belly chooses a spontaneous trip to France.
Together, those details point to a turning point rather than a neat resolution: Belly chooses a new direction while Jeremiah is left to reckon with his relationship with Conrad and the changed situation. The available accounts establish those broad developments, not a complete scene-by-scene sequence.
Why is the episode called “Last Call”?
Prime Video lists the episode as “Last Call,” Season 3, Episode 9. The phrase suits an episode set after a wedding plan falls apart and before the story moves into its next phase, though that reading is interpretation rather than an explanation confirmed by the series. The supplied recap title, “The Day After Tomorrow,” should not be mistaken for the platform’s episode label.
#1 Best Overall
Where does Episode 9 sit in the final season?
Amazon described Season 3 as the show’s third and final season, with the series finale released on September 17, 2025. Prime Video lists “Last Call” at 1 hour 3 minutes, with a release date of September 2, 2025. It is followed by Episode 10, “Last Year,” whose synopsis moves the story a year ahead to Belly’s new life in Paris as Jeremiah and Conrad adjust back home; the listing then gives Episode 11, “At Last.”
The series centers on Belly and brothers Conrad and Jeremiah, played respectively by Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, and Gavin Casalegno. Amazon describes the show as based on Jenny Han’s book trilogy, but the episode’s broad catalog synopsis and the cited recap do not establish exact dialogue or soundtrack details.
Rank #2
Is the episode’s pacing a settled verdict?
No. TechRadar’s recap criticizes the pacing, but that is the reviewer’s opinion, not a neutral consensus or a plot fact. Viewers may judge the episode differently; the reported developments are Belly’s canceled wedding plans and France trip, alongside Jeremiah’s struggle with the changed circumstances.
