Yes. Red Sonja was completed and released in 2025. The catch for US moviegoers was the theatrical run: distributor Samuel Goldwyn Films advertised it as a “ONE NIGHT ONLY” engagement on August 13, 2025. The distributor lists video-on-demand from August 29 and now labels the film “Now on Digital.”
What was the catch?
The catch was the short US theatrical window, not that the film remained unfinished. Samuel Goldwyn Films advertised a one-night theatrical engagement for August 13, 2025, then listed the video-on-demand release for August 29, 2025. Its film page now says “Now on Digital.” Samuel Goldwyn Films’ official film page gives those release details.

Where can you watch Red Sonja (2025)?
The official distributor pages confirm digital availability, but they do not list every service or territory. Check local streaming services and digital retailers, since catalogs vary by country and change over time.
For a dated US snapshot, JustWatch’s US listing, checked October 7, 2026, reported options including Amazon Prime Video and Tubi, plus digital rental or purchase and DVD/Blu-ray. That listing is not a guarantee of present availability, even in the US.

Is Sonja Reborn #1 a movie tie-in?
No movie tie-in is established by the available publisher listing. Dynamite Entertainment identifies Sonja Reborn #1 as a Teen+ comic by Christopher Priest and Alessandro Miracolo, published in August 2025 and on sale August 6. It is a related Red Sonja comic, not a confirmed tie-in to the film.
