That five-week run ended on December 29, 2025; it was not an announcement that the ongoing series would air on TNT season after season.
What TNT actually announced
Warner Bros. Discovery announced on November 10, 2025, that TNT would air the complete first season of The Pitt as a special programming event. The schedule began Monday, December 1, 2025, at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with three consecutive episodes each Monday through December 29. The announcement described the episodes as airing uncut, including graphic medical imagery and nudity. Warner Bros. Discovery’s announcement called it a “special programming event,” not a continuing weekly home for the series.

Will season two or season three air on TNT?
No TNT schedule for either later season had been confirmed in the dated information available here. A CableTV.com viewing guide verified July 31, 2026, reported that seasons one and two were available on HBO Max and that no TNT airing was confirmed for season two or the then-upcoming third season. That is a report as of its verification date, not a guarantee about future schedules.
HBO Max announced that season two premiered January 8, 2026, at 9 p.m. ET, and that the series was renewed for a third season. In an August 2026 announcement, HBO Max said season three would return in January 2027. These streaming and renewal announcements do not establish a TNT broadcast date. Where to watch The Pitt now
The two routes are different: TNT’s cable run was a completed, scheduled broadcast event, while HBO Max is the reported on-demand home for the first two seasons. The July 2026 viewing guide lists HBO Max availability, but streaming catalogs can change; check HBO Max in your region for the current listing. HBO Max access is not the same thing as access to TNT’s linear cable channel.
If you specifically want a TNT airing, look for a current schedule from TNT rather than relying on the old December 2025 event listing. The available dated guide did not confirm later-season TNT broadcasts.
