Who was unmasked in The Masked Singer Season 13 semi-finals?
FOX aired Season 13, Episode 12, “The Semi-Finals: Head-To-Head Battles,” on April 30, 2025. The unmasking was Lucky Duck, revealed as Taika Waititi, the actor and filmmaker who is married to panelist Rita Ora. FOX’s episode listing identifies the broadcast; TheWrap’s recap covers the reveal and the episode’s format twist.
After the reveal, Ora told Waititi, “This is kind of your dream come true. You always wanted to be a pop star.” Waititi joked, “The main reason I wanted to do this is because it’s the only way I was going to be able to see my wife. You guys got her working so hard, I never see her.”
Were any contestants eliminated?
No. The episode’s head-to-head battles led toward a final Smackdown, but Lucky Duck used the Ding Dong Keep It On bell to interrupt the expected elimination and keep all four remaining contestants in the competition. The result was a first for the show’s format, according to TheWrap and Entertainment Weekly.
