The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 is already streaming on Netflix; the production update is a look back at the season’s Los Angeles footprint, not news that filming is just beginning. Netflix’s figures for 359 production days and more than 4,300 cast and crew cover all four seasons combined. The company’s next production announcement, dated May 13, 2026, concerns Season 5—the series’ final season.

Netflix published its production feature on February 10, 2026, describing the cumulative work behind the series’ first four seasons. The company reports 359 production days, more than 4,300 cast and crew, more than 50 local vendors, and filming at more than 50 locations across Los Angeles since the show debuted. Those are series-wide totals, not counts for Season 4 alone. Netflix’s production feature also notes contributions from local artists.
Netflix reported that Season 4 debuted at No. 2 on its Global Top 10 English Series list with 9 million views. That is Netflix’s own reported ranking and viewership figure, not an independently audited audience measurement. Season 4 was already streaming when Netflix published the February feature.
Where was The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 filmed?
The series is filmed throughout Los Angeles, and Netflix’s Season 4 location guide identifies recognizable city landmarks as well as neighborhood businesses. Named locations include:

How Los Angeles shapes the production
Showrunner Ted Humphrey told Tudum, “Shooting in a great city like New York or London or LA is like shooting in front of the greatest backdrops in the world.” Location manager Richard DiPatri described the balancing act behind choosing them: “I think the key is to present locations that fit the story and the scripts, but also to stay away from the main tourist attractions.”

Driving scenes bring a practical challenge. DiPatri said Los Angeles traffic makes filming on the road restrictive: “Times of day, as well as days of the week, are very restrictive for controlling streets and filming driving scenes.” Netflix’s guide adds that Manuel Garcia-Rulfo really drives in scenes where Mickey cruises in his convertible.
Season 4 story, episode count and book
Season 4 has 10 episodes and adapts Michael Connelly’s sixth Lincoln Lawyer novel, The Law of Innocence. Mickey Haller, played by Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, is accused of murdering former client Sam Scales. He and his team work to establish his innocence while confronting the district attorney’s office, the FBI, and the consequences of Mickey’s past. The later production news is about Season 5, not a new Season 4 shoot. Netflix announced on May 13, 2026, that Season 5 would be the series’ final season and was then in production. The announced season has 10 episodes and is inspired by Connelly’s seventh Lincoln Lawyer novel, Resurrection Walk. Netflix has not established a release date in that announcement.
