Arthur Christmas ranks first among Eva Longoria’s acting-credit films in the available inflation-adjusted worldwide comparison, just ahead of The Heartbreak Kid. That is an adjusted ranking—not a list of comparable nominal worldwide receipts—and it includes her voice performances.
How this ranking works
The ranking below follows Ultimate Movie Rankings’ (UMR) reported “World-Wide Box Office Adjusted” estimates, in millions of dollars. Because UMR adjusts the figures, they should not be read as the films’ original, nominal worldwide receipts. The available sources do not establish one fully comparable nominal worldwide total for every eligible Longoria film.
Eligibility here means a feature film in which Longoria has an acting credit, including voice acting. It excludes television work and films connected to her only through producing or directing. The list is a ranking by UMR’s adjusted estimates, not a claim that every film has been measured on the same nominal-gross basis.
Eva Longoria’s highest-grossing movies in the adjusted comparison
| Rank | Film | Release year | UMR adjusted worldwide estimate | Longoria’s role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Arthur Christmas | 2011 | $232.40 million | Chief De Silva (voice) |
| 2 | The Heartbreak Kid | 2007 | $232.10 million | Consuela Cantrow |
| 3 | Dora and the Lost City of Gold | 2019 | $160.90 million | Elena Márquez |
| 4 | The Boss Baby: Family Business | 2021 | $157.30 million | Carol Templeton (voice) |
| 5 | The Sentinel | 2006 | $148.30 million | Jill Marin |
| 6 | Overboard | 2018 | $118.60 million | Theresa |
These six figures and their order are UMR’s displayed adjusted-worldwide estimates. Its top two are separated by only $0.30 million, so the narrow lead should not be mistaken for a large gap or a nominal-gross verdict.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why The Boss Baby (2017) does not rank here
The 2017 film The Boss Baby is a different movie from The Boss Baby: Family Business. The Numbers reports a worldwide total of $527,909,949 for the original, but the retrieved filmography evidence credits Longoria in the 2021 sequel, not the 2017 film. The original’s larger gross therefore cannot be assigned to her acting-credit ranking.

How to interpret the figures
- Adjusted versus nominal: UMR’s ranking uses inflation-adjusted estimates; The Numbers’ cited totals for The Boss Baby: Family Business are nominal reported receipts. Do not compare them as though they were one uniform measure.
- Worldwide versus regional totals: Worldwide combines domestic and international receipts; a domestic figure alone is not a worldwide ranking value.
- Voice performances count: Excluding voice roles would change which films qualify. This list includes them consistently.
