Who did Mel send home after hometowns?
Mel eliminated Debbie after the hometown dates. Cindy and Peg moved on as his final two. In TheWrap’s interview, Owens said the decision was difficult and described Debbie as sincere, honest, and a person with depth. He explained that he felt a deeper connection with the other two women.

Who did Mel choose in the finale?
The hometown result is separate from the season’s eventual outcome: Mel later gave his final rose to Peg over Cindy and offered her a commitment ring, not a proposal, according to ABC News’ November 13, 2025 finale report.
