The scene is in The Boys Season 4, episode 2, “Life Among the Septics”: a supe makes copies of himself in a deliberately grotesque visual gag. It is a brief moment in an episode set at TruthCon, the show’s conspiracy-convention satire—not a scene from a documentary or a literal reference to the 2009 film The Human Centipede.

What happens in the scene?
ScreenRant describes the gag as a supe making copies of himself, arranged in a sexualized line formation. The image is intentionally disturbing, but it is best described briefly: the shock comes from the bizarre use of a superpower to create a grotesque visual, rather than from a complicated plot reveal. ScreenRant’s account is a critic’s framing, not evidence of a measured viewer consensus.
Why is TruthCon the setting?
“Life Among the Septics” places the action at TruthCon, a convention built around conspiracy claims. Prime Video’s official synopsis leans into that satirical setup: “The Moon Landing never happened… BECAUSE THE MOON ISN’T REAL! Find out what else they don’t want you to know at #TruthCon!” The episode’s broader setting makes the gag part of the show’s exaggerated world of spectacle and misinformation, rather than an isolated documentary-style depiction.

How does it compare with Termite’s Season 3 scene?
ScreenRant compares the moment with the Season 3 scene involving Termite. Both use body horror and superpowers to generate shock, but the specific device differs: one hinges on copies of a supe, while the other centers on Termite’s ability to shrink. Calling either one worse is a matter of taste; the available coverage does not establish an objective ranking or a consensus about which is more disturbing.
