What is the final season about?
The season’s premise sets the Boys against Homelander’s rule. Sony’s synopsis describes Homelander controlling America through terror while Butcher, Hughie, Annie, and their allies mount resistance. Amazon’s expanded synopsis says Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned, Annie is struggling to organize resistance, Kimiko is missing, and Butcher is considering a virus targeting Supes. Those details describe the setup, not the ending.
