The Boys Season 4 Episode 7, “The Insider,” was released on July 11, 2024. The official episode listing sets up an Avenue V Christmas Special that warns children that even family members could be Starlighters. But the available official episode listing and season-trailer description do not confirm the headline claim that The Seven attack The Boys’ headquarters. Treat that scene as unverified unless it appears in the specific preview clip you have in mind.
What the official Episode 7 description says
Prime Video’s episode listing calls the episode “The Insider” and describes an Avenue V Christmas Special aimed at children. Its synopsis reads: “Remember kids! ANYONE might be a Starlighter trying to destroy America! Even Mom and Dad! Find out how to stop them on the Avenue V Christmas Special!” This is Prime Video’s in-universe episode synopsis, not a verified quotation from a trailer or character dialogue.
The setup places anti-Starlighter messaging inside a children’s program. Apple TV’s listing for the episode gives a closely aligned synopsis, but neither listing establishes a specific fight at The Boys’ headquarters.
Is the alleged attack on The Boys’ headquarters confirmed?
Not by the official materials identified here. Prime Video’s Season 4 trailer description offers broad season context: “In Season Four, the world is on the brink.” It discusses Victoria Neuman’s proximity to the Oval Office and Homelander’s influence, as well as Butcher’s terminal illness and the team’s frustration with his leadership. That is season-level framing, not confirmation of an Episode 7-specific preview scene.

A pre-episode fan discussion anticipated a possible fight at the Boys’ office, including a scene involving The Deep and Black Noir. That discussion records speculation, not proof that the scene appears in an official trailer or in Episode 7. If a particular clip shows The Seven attacking the headquarters, its footage—not the episode listing or fan predictions—is what would verify that description.

Post-release coverage reports developments that go beyond what a preview description can establish. The Wrap’s Episode 7 recap says Homelander fires Sage, A-Train leaves The Seven, and The Deep kills Ambrosius. It also describes Butcher arranging Frenchie’s release and Kimiko’s anger with him. Those are recap spoilers; they should not be presented as evidence of what a trailer showed.
