Hulu is the strongest alternative, especially for existing subscribers. The required order is Seasons 1–3, Final Season Parts 1 and 2, then The Final Chapters Specials 1 and 2.
For viewers in the United States, Crunchyroll is the best place to stream every main-series episode of Attack on Titan in 2025. Its official series listing presents the anime across four seasons, includes both subtitled and dubbed playback, and exposes the ending material. Open the Attack on Titan page on Crunchyroll and confirm that both The Final Chapters specials appear in your account before beginning.
Hulu is the best mainstream alternative, particularly if you already subscribe. Hulu’s official guide says all four seasons are available on demand in subtitled and English-dubbed versions. Netflix should not be treated as a current U.S. option based on the checked result: its U.S. title page reported that the show was unavailable in the viewer’s country. Streaming rights change by territory and over time, so the availability statements here are specifically for the United States and should be rechecked when you are ready to watch.
Where to stream Attack on Titan in the U.S.
| Service or option | Best for | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Crunchyroll | Anime-first viewers and a complete watch-through | The clearest listing for the four-season structure, subbed and dubbed playback, and the Final Chapters ending. Subscription plans and prices can change. |
| Hulu | Existing Hulu subscribers and viewers who prefer a general-entertainment app | Hulu states that all four seasons are available in subtitled and English-dubbed versions. |
| Amazon Video or Apple TV Store | Buying selected seasons or entries | Digital purchase listings have been observed in the U.S. Check the exact season and whether the Final Chapters are included before buying. |
| Netflix | Not a recommended U.S. option at the time checked | The official U.S. page returned a country-availability warning. Netflix’s catalog can differ substantially outside the United States. |
Hulu’s page currently displays 178 catalog episodes. Do not interpret that number as a universal canonical episode count: platforms can count language versions, specials, or other catalog entries differently. The main television story is best followed by its numbered episode ranges and the two concluding specials below.

The complete Attack on Titan viewing order
Watch the main anime in this order. The episode numbers are the commonly used continuous numbering; some services reset numbering inside each season or use different labels for the final specials.
- Attack on Titan — Season 1: Episodes 1–25.
- Attack on Titan — Season 2: Episodes 26–37, 12 episodes.
- Attack on Titan — Season 3: Episodes 38–59, 22 episodes.
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season — Part 1: Episodes 60–75.
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season — Part 2: Episodes 76–87.
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season — The Final Chapters Special 1.
- Attack on Titan: The Final Season — The Final Chapters Special 2.
Do not skip The Final Chapters
The two Final Chapters specials are required viewing. They are not optional recaps or promotional extras; together they provide the anime’s ending. Depending on the service, you may see them labeled as Final Season Part 3, The Final Chapters, Special 1 and Special 2, or as movie-style entries.
The safest check is to look for both specials after episode 87. Do not stop when the app says you have finished “Season 4,” and do not assume that a listing called “Part 3” contains everything unless it clearly includes both final specials. The combined main-feature runtime of the two specials is 145 minutes according to the official home-video listing.
Optional OADs and bonus episodes
The eight OADs, also called OAVs, add character history and side stories, but they are not necessary to understand the main plot. They are best treated as bonus material rather than inserted into the required seven-step sequence.

- Watch what you want - Stream over 1.5 million movies and TV episodes. Watch favorites with subscriptions to Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and more. Subscription fees may apply.
- All your entertainment in one place - Watch live and free TV, play video games, and stream music.
- Smart and always getting smarter - Fire TV adds new Alexa skills, features, smart home capabilities, and voice functionality all the time.
For a relatively spoiler-conscious first watch, you can place them as follows:
- After Season 1: the first five OADs.
- After Season 2: the next two OADs.
- After the relevant Season 3 material: the final OAD.
Because services do not always list the OADs consistently, the simplest alternative is to finish the main series first and return to all eight afterward. That avoids accidentally choosing a side story whose placement or description spoils a later reveal.
What about Attack on Titan: Chronicle?
Attack on Titan: Chronicle is a feature-length condensation of the first three seasons. It can be useful when you need a refresher before revisiting the final season, but it is not a substitute for streaming every episode. It compresses major events and omits the slower character, political, and world-building material that makes the episodic version worthwhile.
If your goal is to watch the complete anime for the first time, use the numbered order above. Use Chronicle only as a recap or a shorter re-entry point.

Is The Last Attack required?
No. Attack on Titan: THE LAST ATTACK is a theatrical compilation of the two Final Chapters specials. It is an alternative presentation of the ending, not an additional story that comes after Special 2.
Choose either:
- the two streaming entries, Final Chapters Special 1 and Special 2; or
- THE LAST ATTACK as the consolidated movie-style presentation, where legally available.
You do not need to watch the two specials and then watch THE LAST ATTACK unless you specifically want to compare the presentations.
Subtitles, dubbing, and language settings
Crunchyroll’s checked U.S. listing exposes both Sub and Dub playback. It lists Japanese, English, German, Latin American Spanish, European Spanish, French, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese audio, along with multiple subtitle languages. Hulu’s viewing guide specifically confirms subtitled and English-dubbed versions across all four seasons.
That does not guarantee that every audio or subtitle language is available for every episode, season, or territory. Before starting a long binge:

Streaming is the easiest way to begin, but a physical edition can make sense if you want a permanent backup against changing licenses. The Crunchyroll Store lists Attack on Titan: The Final Season — The Final Chapters on Blu-ray + DVD. That release contains Specials 1 and 2, includes English and Japanese audio with English subtitles, uses four Blu-ray discs, and has a North American release date of November 26, 2024.
For viewers who want a more complete physical package, Crunchyroll announced an Attack on Titan Final Season Complete SteelBook in its November 2025 home-video slate. Confirm the release status, contents, region compatibility, price, and stock before ordering; those details can vary by retailer and location. A Final Chapters Blu-ray and DVD edition is the documented option for owning the ending itself.
Digital purchase through Amazon Video or the Apple TV Store is another possibility in the U.S. Treat it as a purchase of a specific listing rather than proof that the entire anime is included. Check every season, compilation, and Final Chapters entry individually before completing the transaction.

Want the manga as well?
The anime has concluded, while the manga is the source material for the adaptation. Kodansha’s official U.S. catalog lists seven Attack on Titan season box sets: Season 1 Part 1, Season 1 Part 2, Season 2, Season 3 Part 1, Season 3 Part 2, The Final Season Part 1, and The Final Season Part 2. Kodansha describes the series as complete and notes that the sets include bonus material.
A Kodansha Attack on Titan manga box set is therefore a sensible companion for readers who want the source story, printed extras, or a collectible alternative to streaming. Manga box-set contents, retailer stock, and regional editions vary, so verify the specific set before purchasing.
Fastest checklist for a complete first watch
- Use Crunchyroll first in the U.S.; use Hulu if it better fits your existing subscriptions.
- Watch Seasons 1, 2, and 3 in order.
- Continue through Final Season Parts 1 and 2, ending at episode 87.
- Locate and watch both Final Chapters specials.
- Do not count OADs as required episodes.
- Use Chronicle only as a recap, not as a replacement for Seasons 1–3.
- Treat THE LAST ATTACK as an alternative compilation of the ending.
- Verify audio, subtitle, territory, and purchase details in the app or store before committing.
Bottom line: In the United States, start with Crunchyroll, confirm that both The Final Chapters specials are listed, and follow the numbered order through episode 87 before watching Special 1 and Special 2. Choose Hulu if you already use it, and consider Blu-ray or manga box sets if you want ownership rather than a catalog-dependent stream.
