Hit Man — Netflix
Hit Man premiered on Netflix in the U.S. on June 7, 2024, and is the best choice here for viewers who want a finished story rather than another multiweek commitment. According to Netflix Tudum’s May 24, 2024 summer-release guide, Hit Man was one of Netflix’s June movie premieres. The film combines romance, crime, and comedy in an accessible, star-led package.
Choose Hit Man when the goal is a single evening of entertainment. There are no episode schedules, finale dates, or weekly viewing appointments to track.
Ultraman: Rising — Netflix
Ultraman: Rising premiered on Netflix in the U.S. on June 14, 2024, as a complete animated superhero feature. The film follows baseball star Ken Sato after he takes on the Ultraman mantle and becomes responsible for caring for a giant baby kaiju, giving the superhero premise a family-focused emotional angle. Where can I watch The Acolyte?
The Acolyte premiered on Disney+ in the U.S. during its June 4, 2024 premiere window, with additional episodes following weekly after launch. Disney+’s May 31, 2024 announcement describes the Star Wars series as an investigation into a shocking crime spree involving a Jedi Master and a dangerous figure from the Jedi’s past.
The Acolyte is the natural June pick for franchise viewers who want a new Star Wars story rather than a returning season. The earlier-period setting and mystery structure also make The Acolyte a reasonable starting point for viewers interested in space fantasy but not looking for another conventional sequel story.
Where can I watch House of the Dragon season 2?
For readers searching where to watch House of the Dragon, the U.S. streaming home for season two was Max, with the linear HBO premiere and Max streaming availability beginning June 16, 2024. According to Warner Bros. Discovery’s May 23, 2024 announcement, the season contains eight episodes and uses a weekly rollout, approximately on Sunday evenings, rather than releasing the entire season at once.
House of the Dragon season two is the best June choice for viewers who want appointment television, large-scale fantasy, and political conflict. The series is based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the source book for the Targaryen civil-war history. Readers who want the source material can treat Fire & Blood as a companion to the show; book availability and editions should be checked separately because this guide does not verify current listings.
Fantasmas — Max
Fantasmas premiered on Max in the U.S. during June 2024, according to the official Max June announcement. The series is the offbeat comedy counterpoint to House of the Dragon’s large-scale fantasy: recommend Fantasmas to viewers who prefer creator-driven, unconventional comedy.

The Boys season four premiered on Prime Video in the U.S. on June 13, 2024, with three episodes. According to About Amazon’s May 14, 2024 announcement, Prime Video then released one new episode each week through the July 18 finale.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsThe Boys is for adults who want abrasive superhero satire, political conflict, and deliberately extreme violence. Amazon’s promotional material identifies the season as mature and uses red-band promotional content, so The Boys should not be presented as family superhero viewing.
My Lady Jane — Prime Video
My Lady Jane premiered exclusively on Prime Video in the U.S. on June 27, 2024, with all eight episodes available at once. About Amazon’s August 6, 2024 title guide describes the series as an alternate-fantasy Tudor story, making My Lady Jane the strongest complete-season binge among the principal recommendations.
Choose My Lady Jane when you want romance, wit, escapist period fantasy, and immediate control over the pace. Unlike House of the Dragon, The Boys, and Presumed Innocent, My Lady Jane did not require viewers to wait for a weekly finale at launch.

Apple’s June 8, 2024 press release identifies the show as an eight-episode limited legal thriller starring Jake Gyllenhaal, who also serves as an executive producer.
The series is based on Scott Turow’s New York Times bestselling novel and provides the guide’s most direct alternative to fantasy and superhero programming. Choose Presumed Innocent for a serious serialized mystery that rewards watching the case develop over several weeks.
