The schedule mixed genuine premieres with films newly entering a service’s U.S. catalog, so the list below identifies which is which. These are historical February 2025 dates, not a guarantee that every title remains available in August 2026.
The February 2025 lineup was a curated, genre-focused selection rather than a complete release calendar. Its strongest choices range from a concluding television season and new animated series to international horror, cult science fiction and substantial library additions.

Actual February premieres and new episodes
Cobra Kai season 6, part 3 — Netflix, February 13
This is the concluding installment of the sixth season, not a new series. It makes sense only after the preceding episodes, and its appeal is primarily to viewers already following the Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai rivalry.
The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep — Netflix, February 11
The animated fantasy film expands Netflix’s Witcher universe. Newcomers can watch it as a standalone adventure, but familiarity with the franchise provides more context for its characters and world.

Win or Lose — Disney+, February 19
Pixar’s original animated series follows a school softball team through different characters’ perspectives. It is a series, not a movie, and was the month’s clearest family-oriented original launch.
Wizards Beyond Waverly Place — Disney+, February 28
This continuation of the Wizards of Waverly Place franchise is aimed at returning fans and families. It is a poor entry point if you have no interest in the earlier series.

Netflix
Netflix’s February standouts combined new franchise material with acclaimed catalog cinema. Alongside Sirens of the Deep and Cobra Kai, the February 11 arrival of Train to Busan supplied a major Korean zombie film; check subtitle and dubbing choices before watching. Parasite, The Nice Guys, It, Happy Feet and Space Jam were catalog additions rather than new releases.
Hulu
Hulu’s February 1 additions favored recognizable films: Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Volume 2, Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, Titanic and Total Recall. These were new to the service, not February premieres.

Prime Video
Prime Video offered The Mario Bros. Movie on February 4, while February 1 brought catalog favorites including Fargo, Groundhog Day, Ghost World, Pitch Black, Riddick and The Chronicles of Riddick. “Available on Prime Video” can mean included streaming or a separate rental or purchase listing, so verify the title page.
Disney+
In addition to Win or Lose and Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl gave Disney+ subscribers a music-and-performance option. Disney+ is the clearest choice here for family animation and Disney franchise viewing, not adult horror.
Rank #4

Max
Max’s February 1 additions created one of the month’s best horror and action libraries: Final Destination, Final Destination 2, Final Destination 3 and Final Destination 5, plus Dredd, Speed, The Conjuring and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Final Destination 4 was not part of the listed arrivals.
Paramount+
Attack the Block, Cinema Paradiso, World War Z and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off joined Paramount+ on February 1. The selection works particularly well for viewers who want one cult science-fiction film, one international classic and familiar mainstream titles.

Shudder
Shudder’s additions were for committed horror viewers: My Bloody Valentine, The Sentinel, Unfriended: Dark Web, Antrum, The Coffee Table and the Human Centipede trilogy. The Coffee Table and the Human Centipede films contain deliberately extreme, upsetting material and are not general-audience recommendations.
Peacock
Peacock combined the LEGO-animated documentary Piece by Piece with The Black Phone and Candyman (2021), then added catalog films including Paddington, The Fifth Element, Talk to Me, the Blade trilogy and the Twilight films.
