Which one should you watch?
For a short, complete binge: Doona!
All nine episodes were available together from October 20, making this the clearest choice for viewers who wanted to finish a romance without waiting for weekly installments.
For period romance: My Dearest Part 2
Choose this for a historical setting and an ongoing watch. In October 2023, its second part was airing on a Friday-and-Saturday schedule.

For action, comedy, and a connection to an earlier series: Strong Girl Namsoon
Its crime investigation and three-generation family premise offer a different tone from the romance-led picks. The spin-off connection may also appeal if you know Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
For music and perseverance: Castaway Diva
Seo Mok-ha’s return to life after 15 years stranded on an island sets up a story about pursuing a singing career. Its October 28 premiere made it a late-month option rather than a series already underway in the roundup.

For a high-concept fantasy romance: A Good Day to Be a Dog
The curse gives the romance an unusual supernatural obstacle. In October, it was a weekly series, so it suited viewers comfortable following a story as episodes arrived.
What to know about streaming availability
The October roundup named Netflix, Viki, MBC, JTBC, and tvN across these titles. A dated entertainment roundup is not an official catalog listing, and a service named for one country or time may not carry the same drama elsewhere or today. Check the service’s local catalog before planning to watch.

For discovery, Netflix has an official U.S. K-drama genre page and a Korean-content guide; neither page by itself guarantees that a particular title is available in every region. Viki also has a collection titled “BEST KOREAN DRAMAS of 2023”, but its title alone does not establish current availability of the five dramas above.
