What happened in the episode?
ABC’s official guide identifies the February 13, 2024 installment as Season 28, Episode 5. The story continues from a cocktail-party cliffhanger and moves to Andalusia, Spain, where Joey and the remaining women have two one-on-one dates and a group date before the rose ceremony. The dates include Kelsey A.’s one-on-one, an art-themed group date, and Rachel’s flamenco date. ABC’s Week 5 feature outlines the episode’s dates and ceremony.
Why do some recaps call a different installment “Episode 5”?
Some recap headlines use an informal episode label that can be confused with the season’s numbered episode. A February 21 recap naming Autumn Waggoner and Madina Alam covers a later rose ceremony, not ABC’s Season 28, Episode 5. ABC identifies its February 19 installment as Season 28, Episode 6. For the question of who Joey sent home in the official Episode 5, the answer is Allison Hollinger and Edwina Dorbor. ABC’s Week 6 guide provides the season episode number; the later recap is from ABC7.
