The $276 NFL Sunday Ticket deal was real for the 2025 season, but it has expired. For 2026–27, YouTube’s official terms list $240 for the season or $20 per month for 12 months for eligible new users. The package still primarily covers out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, not every NFL broadcast, and the YouTube TV route may require an additional Base Plan.
The $276 NFL Sunday Ticket deal has expired
The $276 NFL Sunday Ticket offer was real, but it applied to the 2025 NFL season and is no longer a current 2026 price. YouTube’s 2025 promotion offered eligible new users either a $276 Season Pass or eight non-cancellable payments of $34.50, with the first payment due when they signed up.

What the original $276 offer included
The 2025 offer was for NFL Sunday Ticket, not for every NFL game. It primarily provided regular-season Sunday afternoon games that were outside the viewer’s local broadcast area.

YouTube’s 2025 announcement described the Season Pass this way:
“And for the avid fans who are committed to watch all out-of-market NFL games during the NFL regular season, we also have the Season Pass option, available for $276 or 8 payments of $34.50/mo for new users.”
The historical promotion was time-limited. Partner terms documented the $276 offer through September 22, 2025. A separate Verizon promotion connected to the 2025–26 season ended on September 23, 2025. Neither date should be treated as a current enrollment deadline.
2025 price versus the current 2026–27 price
| Offer | Price | Status | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket Season Pass | $276 upfront | Expired | Historical new-user promotion for the 2025 season |

The figures above are subscription prices only. They do not necessarily represent the total cost of watching all NFL games, and the YouTube TV route can require an additional Base Plan.
Does NFL Sunday Ticket include every NFL game?
No. Sunday Ticket is an out-of-market package. Its central purpose is showing Sunday afternoon regular-season games that are not available through the viewer’s local broadcast stations.
It does not replace every other NFL broadcast source. Depending on the game and the viewer’s location:
- Local Fox and CBS games are handled through local broadcast coverage rather than Sunday Ticket.
- Sunday Night Football is carried separately on NBC.
- Monday Night Football is not part of the Sunday Ticket package.
- Thursday Night Football is available through Amazon Prime Video, not YouTube TV.
- Selected digital-only, international, and other specially distributed games may be excluded or handled under separate terms.
YouTube TV can provide local and nationally televised channels when those channels are available in the subscriber’s market, but that is different from NFL Sunday Ticket itself. Check the game’s broadcaster if you are trying to plan an entire season.
Do you need YouTube TV for NFL Sunday Ticket?
Not always. YouTube distributes NFL Sunday Ticket through more than one purchase route, and the requirements depend on where you buy it.

The YouTube TV add-on requires an active YouTube TV Base Plan. Therefore, someone who did not already subscribe to YouTube TV could pay substantially more than $276 in total if they chose that route. The $276 headline price should not be presented as the all-in cost of a YouTube TV subscription plus Sunday Ticket.
A standalone YouTube or Primetime Channels route does not require a YouTube TV subscription, although its own current price, payment terms, availability, and content limitations must be checked before purchase.

- Easy to Install: Plug the coaxial cable from your digital indoor HDTV antenna into the ANT/IN connector on the back of your TV, point the TV antenna toward your local TV tower and scan for channels. (Check "dtv gov maps" for available channels).
Who qualified as a “new user” for the $276 offer?
The 2025 price was not simply available to anyone who had never used the service recently. It was intended for people who had never previously purchased or subscribed to NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube or YouTube TV.
A previous Sunday Ticket purchase or a prior YouTube TV bundle could disqualify a customer from the new-user price. Returning users could see different prices or offers. If you have used Sunday Ticket before, rely on the offer shown in your own account rather than assuming that the advertised new-user amount applies.

- The historical $276 payment plan charged the first $34.50 installment at purchase.
- The remaining installments were non-cancellable under the 2025 offer terms.
- The season price was non-refundable after charging under the applicable terms.
- Current recurring plans may renew at the then-current price unless canceled before the renewal date.
Before confirming an order, check whether the screen shows a one-time seasonal purchase, a fixed installment plan, or a recurring monthly subscription. Those are materially different commitments.
Can you watch without cable?
Yes. NFL Sunday Ticket is an internet-delivered service, so cable television is not required. You can watch on supported smart TVs, streaming devices, computers, and mobile devices. Supported platforms include Google TV, Chromecast with Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, Apple TV, compatible smart TVs, and other devices listed by YouTube.
If your television is too old to run the required app, a compatible streaming device can add that capability. The Google TV Streamer (4K) is one possible setup accessory: Google lists it at $99.99 with Android TV, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, and up to 4K HDR at 60 frames per second. It is optional, does not include NFL Sunday Ticket, and does not guarantee that every Sunday Ticket broadcast will be delivered in 4K HDR. An existing compatible TV, computer, phone, or streaming device may be all you need.
Multiview, DVR, and other viewing features
YouTube TV’s documented NFL features include:
- Multiview with up to four games in one stream, where available.
- DVR recording for eligible content.
- Condensed 45-minute replays for catching up more quickly.
- Key plays, statistics, and fantasy information.
- Spoiler controls for viewers who want to avoid game results.
Feature availability can vary by device, game, and subscription route. A replay or interactive feature should not be confused with live access to a game that is outside the package.

How many people can watch?
YouTube TV says NFL Sunday Ticket has no stream limit while watching at home and permits up to two separate streams outside the home, subject to its restrictions.
Family sharing can extend YouTube TV and NFL Sunday Ticket access to up to five other household members through a Google family group. “Household” rules and location requirements still apply; family sharing is not a blanket license for unrelated users in different homes or regions.
What about Verizon discounts?
Verizon did advertise 2025–26 NFL Sunday Ticket promotions. One pathway offered the service “on us” to qualifying mobile and home-internet customers, with a stated value of up to $480. Another offered certain existing Verizon customers a $276 subscription, described as savings of up to $204.
Those documented offers ended September 23, 2025. They are useful examples of how a carrier promotion worked, but they are not evidence of an active Verizon offer for the 2026–27 season. If you are a Verizon customer, check your current account offers and the official Verizon terms rather than relying on an old code or deal page.
Businesses cannot use the residential subscription
A residential NFL Sunday Ticket subscription is not intended for a bar, restaurant, store, or other commercial establishment. If you plan to show games to customers or the public, do not rely on a residential YouTube purchase. Investigate commercial NFL Sunday Ticket rights separately through the authorized commercial-rights provider identified in YouTube’s material, EverPass Media. Commercial availability, pricing, and licensing terms require separate verification.

Should you buy the current 2026–27 plan?
- Confirm the season. Make sure the checkout page says 2026–27, not an archived 2025 promotion.
- Check your user status. A previous YouTube or YouTube TV Sunday Ticket subscription may remove new-user eligibility.
- Choose the purchase route. Compare the standalone option with the YouTube TV add-on and include the Base Plan if required.
- Map your games. Sunday Ticket covers out-of-market Sunday afternoon games, not local, Thursday, Sunday-night, Monday-night, or every specially distributed game.
- Read the billing terms. Confirm whether payments are non-cancellable, whether the plan renews, and the deadline for stopping renewal.
- Check your equipment. Use an existing supported device or add a compatible streamer only if your TV needs one.
Bottom line
The headline “new users get the 2025–26 season for $276” was accurate as a historical 2025 promotion, but that deal has expired. As of August 13, 2026, YouTube’s listed 2026–27 standard new-user price is $240 for the season or $20 per month for 12 months, subject to eligibility and the terms shown at checkout.
Whichever price you see, remember that NFL Sunday Ticket covers primarily out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. It is not an all-NFL package, and the YouTube TV version may require the additional Base Plan.
