TCL and Globo announced a distribution agreement bringing three free, ad-supported channels—Malhação FAST, D.P.A. – Detetives do Prédio Azul FAST and Receitas FAST—to TCL Channel on TCL smart TVs in Brazil. The announcement describes a regional FAST-channel offering, not a worldwide rollout or the addition of Globo’s full paid-TV lineup.
What the agreement adds
The agreement expands TCL Channel’s Brazilian lineup with three Globo-branded FAST channels. FAST means free, ad-supported streaming television: programming is offered without a channel subscription and is supported by advertising. TCL’s announcement describes the channels as available through TCL Channel on TCL smart TVs in Brazil.
The announcement page carries a September 18, 2025 publication label, while the release text itself is datelined São Paulo, August 29, 2025. It is therefore best understood as an announcement dated in late August and posted on TCL’s site in September.
What each channel shows
Malhação FAST
This channel is devoted to episodes of Globo’s long-running youth soap opera Malhação. TCL says its programming spans notable phases including Academia (1995–1999), Múltipla Escolha (1999–2009) and Pós Múltipla Escolha (2009–2020). The release says new episodes are released daily at 6 p.m.; schedules can change, so that timing should be treated as the schedule described when TCL published the announcement. TCL dates the channel’s original debut to December 13, 2023.

Who can watch—and what is not confirmed
The verified scope is TCL smart TVs in Brazil using TCL Channel. TCL’s release does not list compatible models, operating-system versions, channel numbers or a complete device-compatibility guide. It also does not establish availability on TCL televisions sold in other countries, third-party streaming devices, mobile apps or web browsers.

This is not evidence that the channels are part of North American TCLtv+. TCL’s separate TCLtv+ announcement concerns its North American service and NFL programming; it does not announce these Globo channels there.
Does watching require a Globo subscription?
TCL presents the three channels as free, ad-supported FAST programming on TCL Channel, and its release does not identify a separate Globoplay subscription requirement for access to them. That does not mean every Globo program is free, that the full libraries are included, or that viewers can select any episode at any time. A FAST channel is programmed as a channel rather than being the same thing as a complete on-demand catalog.
How this differs from Globo’s paid channels
The agreement is for three curated FAST channels, not Globo’s full pay-TV portfolio. Globo’s support documentation lists channels such as GNT, Multishow, GloboNews, SporTV and Gloob among paid products. Viewers looking for that broader paid lineup should not mistake this TCL deal for access to it.

ge TV is a separate addition
Globo’s free sports-entertainment channel ge TV is related to TCL’s distribution activity but is not one of the three channels in this agreement. Globo announced ge TV separately in August 2025 and said it would be available on TCL later that month; TCL also issued a separate ge TV announcement. Globo’s launch coverage describes ge TV as a distinct sports-focused digital channel.
