The outing was in Bungarribee, Western Sydney—not Taronga Zoo Sydney in Mosman—and came two days before her Sydney concerts began.
When did Taylor Swift visit Sydney Zoo?
Contemporary entertainment coverage placed Swift at Sydney Zoo on Wednesday, 21 February 2024, during a break in the Australian leg of her Eras Tour. Her Sydney shows at Accor Stadium were scheduled for 23–26 February, according to the Sydney Olympic Park event listing.
ABC News later reported that Swift told the crowd at the 23 February show: “We are going to Sydney zoo on 100 per cent of our days off here,” preserving the lowercase “zoo” in its account of her remarks.
Which zoo did she visit?
The destination reported was Sydney Zoo, at Bungarribee in Western Sydney. It is a different attraction from Taronga Zoo Sydney, which is in Mosman. An ABC article’s web address contains “taronga-zoo,” but its headline and article text identify the destination as Sydney Zoo; the zoo’s own visitor information gives the Bungarribee location.

Sydney Zoo’s visitor information lists the Bungarribee location, daily opening and practical visitor services. Its FAQ recommends allowing at least two to three hours and mentions wheelchair and stroller hire, as well as mobility scooter hire. Fees and deposits may change, so check the zoo’s current visitor information before travelling.
The zoo’s published pages have shown different closing times: the opening-hours page lists 9 a.m.–5 p.m. daily, while an FAQ search result lists 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Because those official listings conflict, confirm the current hours and admission details directly before your visit rather than relying on either closing time.
