The fifth and final season arrived in three parts, with the first four episodes released together, the next three arriving on Christmas Day, and the finale following on New Year’s Eve in the United States.
Stranger Things Season 5 release schedule
Netflix used a three-volume release rather than a weekly episode schedule. In the U.S., every drop went live at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time / 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
| Release | Episodes | U.S. date | U.S. release time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Volume 1 | Episodes 1–4 | November 26, 2025 | 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET |
| Volume 2 | Episodes 5–7 | December 25, 2025 | 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET |
| The Finale | Episode 8 | December 31, 2025 | 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET |
That means there are no upcoming Season 5 episodes still to be released. All eight are now available to stream on Netflix.
When did Season 5 arrive outside the U.S.?
Netflix released each volume worldwide at the same instant. Since that moment fell after midnight in many time zones, viewers in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania saw the releases on the following calendar day:

Why did the episodes release at 5 p.m. Pacific Time?
Netflix originals commonly become available at midnight Pacific Time, but Netflix can assign a separate launch time for a specific title. For Stranger Things Season 5, Netflix announced the later 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time start for all three drops.

What time did Stranger Things Season 5 release on Netflix?
Each U.S. release went live at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, 6:00 p.m. Mountain, 7:00 p.m. Central and 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
How many episodes came out in each Season 5 volume?
Volume 1 contained episodes 1–4, Volume 2 contained episodes 5–7, and The Finale was episode 8 by itself.
Why did some countries get Stranger Things Season 5 on a different date?
