Spotify Wrapped 2024 launched on December 4, 2024, with two different ways to revisit your listening year: the personalized Your Top Songs 2024 playlist and a short AI-generated audio recap called Your Spotify Wrapped AI podcast. The playlist collected your most-played tracks; the podcast used two AI hosts to talk about your music. It was a limited-time feature, not a continuing podcast series, so it may no longer be accessible.
What Spotify Wrapped 2024 included
Wrapped’s main experience was an interactive, story-style recap of a listener’s year. It highlighted listening minutes, top songs, artists and genres, and changes in musical taste. It also included artist-ranking details and, where available, messages from artists and podcasters, alongside country, global and other editorial playlists. Spotify presented the AI podcast as an extra way to revisit those results—not a replacement for the visual recap. Spotify’s launch announcement describes the feature set.

Where to find “Your Top Songs 2024”
Your Top Songs 2024 was the personalized playlist of the tracks you played most during the year. During the 2024 rollout, the usual route was to open Spotify, go to Home, open the Wrapped feed and select the playlist. It was separate from the interactive Wrapped story, Spotify’s editorial playlists, and the AI-generated podcast. Contemporary launch coverage also identified the playlist by name: Droid Life’s Wrapped 2024 coverage.

Wrapped also introduced Your Music Evolution, a separate feature that described up to three musical phases or “eras” and produced a related mix of songs and recommendations. In short, Top Songs looked back at your most-played tracks; Music Evolution offered a more interpretive mix around how your tastes shifted.

Because the 2024 Wrapped experience was time-limited, there is no guarantee the playlist will still appear in your account or search results. If it is missing now, that does not necessarily indicate an app problem. Spotify’s old instructions to update the app applied to the launch period; they cannot guarantee access to an expired feature.
What was the AI podcast?
Spotify called it Your Spotify Wrapped AI podcast. The personalized audio overview was built with Google’s NotebookLM Audio Overview technology and used two generative-AI hosts to discuss a listener’s top songs, artists, genres and listening patterns. Each episode was generated around that listener’s Wrapped data. Reports put episodes at roughly three to six minutes, though duration varied.

Despite its name, it was not a conventional podcast program: it had no recurring human hosts, regular release schedule or public episode catalog. It was an individualized, podcast-like recap. Spotify’s announcement explains the NotebookLM connection and the feature’s personalized Audio Overview format.

- Open Spotify and select the Home tab.
- Open the Wrapped feed.
- Tap Your Spotify Wrapped AI podcast.
- If it was not surfaced in the feed, search Spotify for that exact feature name.
Spotify also offered a share control to download an audio clip or send a link. The company warned that sharing created a public link, so consider whether you want others to hear a recap tied to your listening history before sharing it. These were launch-period directions; because the feature was available for a limited time, searching for it now may not work.

Who was eligible—and why it may be gone
Spotify said the AI podcast was available in English to eligible Free and Premium users in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and Sweden. It was not offered to every Spotify account worldwide and was explicitly limited-time. As of 2026, it is best understood as a historical 2024 Wrapped feature, not a reliably available product.
If you could not find it during the original release, possible reasons included being outside a supported country, using an account that was not eligible, or not meeting the English-language limitation. Today, the most likely explanation is simply that the 2024 feature has expired or is no longer surfaced. The app update advice that circulated at launch is not a dependable fix for that.

Other AI features were separate
Two other features were associated with the Wrapped rollout, but neither was the NotebookLM-powered podcast:
- DJ: Wrapped had Spotify’s AI DJ comment on a listener’s year and play selected tracks.
- AI Playlist let eligible Premium users use prompts based on Wrapped data to build playlists, subject to market and account availability.
These tools had distinct formats and eligibility rules. Their presence—or absence—does not determine whether someone received the AI podcast, which Spotify announced for eligible Free as well as Premium users.

What the AI recap could—and could not—tell you
The podcast’s appeal was convenience and novelty: it turned familiar Wrapped statistics into a brief conversation. It might also repeat information already shown in the visual recap, leave out context, or mispronounce artist and song names. Spotify itself cautioned that the summary could be incomplete and pronunciation could be imperfect.
Treat its commentary as generated entertainment, not a complete account of your listening or an authoritative reading of your personality. The AI hosts were summarizing available music data, not offering a clinical or psychological assessment.
