Yes—Spotify now offers a playlist-import option inside its mobile app. The feature lets you connect services such as Apple Music, YouTube Music, TIDAL, Deezer and Amazon Music, then recreate selected playlists and tracks in Spotify. It is a Spotify-integrated version of TuneMyMusic, not a transfer of audio files or a complete migration of your music account.
Where to find Spotify’s import tool
Open the Spotify mobile app and follow this path:
- Tap Your Library.
- Scroll to the bottom.
- Tap Import your music from other apps or, depending on your app version and market, Import your music.
Spotify documents this feature for mobile. The control may not be visible on every account, app version or regional rollout, and Spotify does not document an equivalent native desktop-app path.

How to transfer a playlist into Spotify
- Open Spotify on your phone and go to Your Library.
- Choose the import option.
- Select the service you are moving music from.
- Sign in to that service.
- Review the requested permissions and tap Allow.
- Select the playlists or tracks you want to transfer.
- Tap Transfer to Spotify.
- Authenticate your Spotify account if prompted.
- Check Your Library for the new playlists and imported tracks.

TuneMyMusic’s supported-services list also includes services such as Yandex Music, Beatport, Beatsource, iTunes, Napster, Pandora, Anghami, KKBOX, Last.fm, SoundMachine and Boomplay. Spotify’s in-app picker may expose only some of those services, and availability can change as platform support and catalogues change.

What Spotify is actually doing
The import process does not copy songs or download audio from one service to another. TuneMyMusic reads playlist information—including titles, artists, albums and identifiers such as ISRCs—and searches Spotify’s catalogue for corresponding tracks.
Spotify supplies the in-app entry point, while TuneMyMusic handles the account connections, matching and transfer. The result is a new Spotify playlist populated with Spotify versions of the tracks. Your original playlists remain on the source service; the process is best understood as a copy or recreation, not a destructive move.

TuneMyMusic separately advertises broader functions such as transferring favourites, artists and albums, creating backups and synchronising services. Those capabilities belong to its wider service and should not automatically be assumed to be included in Spotify’s in-app flow. In particular, inspect the picker before assuming that Liked Songs, albums or artists will transfer.
Why some songs may be missing
A successful transfer does not guarantee a perfect match. A track may be unavailable because:
- Spotify does not licence it in your country.
- The two services use different titles, artists or album metadata.
- The source contains a live, remastered, clean or explicit version that Spotify cannot match exactly.
- The source service carries a release that Spotify does not.
TuneMyMusic says unmatched tracks are identified after the transfer and can be exported as a CSV file. Review that report before deleting or abandoning the original playlist. For each missing song, search Spotify manually and check alternate clean, explicit, live, remastered and regional versions.

Limits, duplicates and unusual playlists
TuneMyMusic’s FAQ says its free plan supports transfers of up to 500 tracks. That is a track limit, not necessarily a limit of 500 playlists, so a few large playlists can use the allowance quickly. Larger transfers may require a paid TuneMyMusic plan.

If you retry a transfer, a second playlist may be created rather than added to an existing one. Use a clear playlist name and inspect your library before repeating the operation.
Spotify and TuneMyMusic do not clearly document eligibility for every private, collaborative, followed or third-party-owned playlist type. Test one representative playlist before transferring a large or complicated collection.

Is the import free?
TuneMyMusic advertises a free allowance of up to 500 tracks. Its official pages showed different Premium price presentations when checked on August 18, 2026: the FAQ listed $4.50 per month or $24 per year, while another plans page displayed an annual equivalent of $2 per month when billed annually. Confirm the current checkout total, billing period and regional price before paying.
A small migration is worth testing through Spotify’s integrated option first. For a large one-time transfer, compare the cost of TuneMyMusic Premium with alternatives. A monthly plan may be more practical for a one-off job; recurring synchronisation can make a paid plan more useful.
TuneMyMusic versus Soundiiz
Soundiiz is the main alternative for users who want a separate migration dashboard, batch operations or continuing synchronisation across services. Its pricing page lists support for more than 40 services, with free conversions limited to one playlist at a time and up to 200 tracks per conversion. Paid plans add batch transfers and synchronisation.

Account permissions and troubleshooting
The transfer requires you to sign in to the source service and authorise access. Check that the sign-in page belongs to the genuine service before entering credentials, read the permissions screen and avoid unfamiliar lookalike domains. You can review and revoke third-party access later through the relevant service’s account controls; the exact revocation path varies by provider.
If the import option is missing, try these practical steps:
- Update Spotify to the latest mobile version available to you.
- Open Your Library and scroll all the way down.
- Look for either import label.
- Sign out and back in if the library page appears stale.
- Try on a phone rather than the desktop app.
- Check whether your source service appears in the picker.
If the transfer itself fails, Spotify directs users to TuneMyMusic support. A TuneMyMusic subscription cancellation does not remove playlists and songs already transferred, according to its FAQ.
The practical verdict
Spotify’s new import entry point removes much of the manual work involved in switching services, but it is not a complete account migration and it cannot guarantee that every song will match. Start with a small playlist, inspect the missing-track report and keep the original source playlists until the Spotify copies are correct. For larger libraries or continuing synchronisation, compare TuneMyMusic’s current plans with Soundiiz before committing.
