Spacey Jane’s 28 February 2025 tour announcement described an initial 20-show Australia and New Zealand run as “their biggest tour yet,” supporting the album If That Makes Sense. Additional Brisbane and Sydney dates later expanded the 2025 run to 25 shows. That announcement is historical: Frontier Touring has since announced a separate Australian tour scheduled for November and December 2026.
What the “biggest tour yet” announcement meant
Frontier Touring announced the 2025 dates on 28 February, ahead of the album’s scheduled release on 9 May. Its announcement called the run “their biggest tour yet”; that phrase was the promoter’s description, not a quote attributed to a band member. The initial itinerary comprised 20 shows across Australia and New Zealand, with New Zealand dates first, followed by Australian cities. Later, additional Brisbane and Sydney dates brought the announced total to 25 shows. Frontier Touring’s 2025 announcement and date-addition update document the original and expanded counts.
The distinction matters: 20 was the initial announcement, while 25 was the later expanded run. Neither figure describes the 2026 tour.
The album behind the 2025 dates
If That Makes Sense
Spacey Jane’s third studio album, If That Makes Sense, was released on 9 May 2025 and produced by Mike Crossey. The band’s album page frames its themes around heartbreak and longing, the way the past shapes the future, and rewriting the script. Its 13 tracks include “All The Noise,” “How To Kill Houseplants,” “Estimated Delivery,” “Falling Apart” and “August.” Spacey Jane’s album page has the release details and track listing.

In a later 2026 tour announcement, Frontier Touring reported that the album debuted at No. 2 on the Albums Chart, was the highest-selling Australian album of 2025, and placed five tracks in triple j’s Hottest 100 for that year. These are figures reported by the promoter; its announcement does not establish an additional chart name or geography. Frontier Touring’s 2026 announcement provides that account.
