NBCUniversal brought Snoop in as a special correspondent for its Paris primetime coverage. The network said he would attend competitions and visit athletes and their families. His presence also reached beyond the broadcast: before the Opening Ceremony, he joined the final stretch of the Olympic torch relay as a torchbearer.
The role drew on an earlier Olympic broadcast appearance. NBC Olympics executive Molly Solomon had called his Tokyo dressage highlights commentary “gold,” noting that those clips generated tens of millions of views on Peacock. That figure refers to his Tokyo coverage, not to measured viewership of his Paris appearances.

Reacting to dressage with Martha Stewart
Snoop and Martha Stewart watched equestrian dressage together, responding to the horses and their routines. The appeal was their lighthearted audience reactions—not a claim that Snoop was offering expert analysis of the sport.
