Yes, the £21 headline was based on a genuine Sky Glass Air launch offer—but it was never the all-in cost of a television and permanent access to 90 premium channels. The calculation combined a 43-inch Sky Glass Air at £6 a month over 48 months with Sky Essential TV at £15 a month for new customers on a 24-month minimum term. There was also an upfront TV payment from £20.
The original deal was reported by T3 on 10 June 2025. Sky’s product pages retrieved in 2026 still list the same £6 and £15 starting figures, but they also contain an expired offer note. Check the live checkout before ordering: availability, prices and terms may have changed.
The £21 calculation

The crucial detail is that the television payment is spread over 48 months. It is not a free television bundled into a 24-month TV subscription, and £21 does not include the upfront payment.
Sky currently lists the 43-inch model at £6 a month over 48 months or £309 outright. The TV finance is a regulated consumer-credit agreement, subject to status, so read the credit information and total amount payable before accepting it. See the 43-inch Sky Glass Air page for the live terms.

What is Sky Glass Air?
Sky Glass Air is a television with Sky’s streaming experience built in. It does not need a separate Sky box for the core Glass experience, but it does need an internet connection and a Sky TV Streaming subscription.
The range comes in 43-, 55- and 65-inch sizes, with Carbon Grey, Sea Green and Cotton White colour options. Sky describes the display as a 4K HDR Quantum Dot panel with Dolby Audio. It is positioned as a slimmer, lighter and less expensive alternative to Sky Glass Gen 2.
Sky lists the 43-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch Air models with an F energy rating on the current A–G scale. Wall mounting requires a professional installer, while self-installation is available in other setups.

That wording matters. “Over 90 channels” does not mean 90 premium Sky channels, nor does it mean that every channel most viewers associate with Sky is included. The package contents can change, so check the Essential TV package page and the checkout channel list before committing.
Is it really £21 a month?
It can be, under the listed new-customer calculation, but the figure is conditional. Sky lists Essential TV at £15 a month for new customers on a 24-month minimum term. Its rolling option is listed at £18 a month initially and currently renews at £21 a month under the standard rolling pricing shown by Sky. Existing customers may see different prices.
The two commitments also have different lengths:
- TV finance: 48 months.
- Essential TV: 24-month minimum term at the listed new-customer rate.
Ending the Sky TV subscription does not automatically mean that any outstanding television finance disappears. Before ordering, check the credit agreement and early-termination terms so you understand what happens if you move, cancel or change your package.

Sky’s terms may also allow prices to change during a minimum term. The £21 figure should therefore be treated as a starting calculation, not a guaranteed four-year household bill.

Costs missing from the headline
Broadband
Sky Glass streams its content over the internet. Broadband is therefore essential, but it is not automatically included in the £21 calculation. Sky recommends at least 25 Mbps for streaming and specifies 30 Mbps for UHD/HDR and Dolby Atmos-related requirements. An unstable or data-capped connection may make Glass a poor fit. Do not assume Sky broadband is supplied unless you separately buy a Sky broadband package.
Delivery
Standard delivery is free. Premium delivery is listed at £45.
UHD and Dolby Atmos
The UHD and Dolby Atmos Pack is listed at £6 a month on a 31-day rolling subscription, with 31 days’ notice to cancel. Hardware, content and broadband requirements apply, and the pack is not part of the £21 calculation.

Premium entertainment
Sky Sports and Sky Cinema are separate add-ons. Netflix upgrades, including ad-free tiers, can also increase the bill. The £21 package is aimed at general entertainment rather than being a complete Sky TV bundle.

Returns
Sky lists a £25 fee for returning Glass during the 31-day cooling-off period. Confirm the applicable terms at the time of purchase.
Which size does the £21 price cover?
The headline applies specifically to the 43-inch Sky Glass Air. Sky’s currently listed outright prices are:

The cheaper Air is not simply Gen 2 at a lower price. T3 reported that Air uses global illumination rather than local dimming and has a conventional stereo speaker arrangement. That can mean less impressive black levels, contrast and sound than the more expensive model. Check Sky’s current Glass range page for the latest specifications.

Air makes more sense if the priority is a low monthly payment and straightforward access to Sky’s interface. Gen 2 is easier to justify for viewers who care about higher-end picture processing, stronger built-in sound and a more home-cinema-oriented setup.
Who should consider the deal?
Sky Glass Air is a reasonable fit for someone who:
- Needs a new 4K television and wants Sky integrated into the set.
- Already has reliable broadband.
- Wants Sky Atlantic, Netflix with Ads, discovery+ and general-interest channels.
- Accepts a 48-month TV finance agreement.
- Values a low initial monthly payment more than immediate ownership.
It is less suitable if you mainly watch free-to-air television, want to own the set immediately, dislike credit agreements or minimum terms, have unreliable broadband, or expect flagship contrast and Dolby Atmos sound. It is also not the right £21 deal if your priority is Sky Sports or Sky Cinema.
Could Sky Stream be better?
If you already own a good television, Sky Stream may be the more flexible comparison. It uses a separate streaming device rather than replacing your TV. That avoids financing a complete display, though it requires a suitable television with an HDMI port and will not solve the problem of an ageing or poor-quality screen.

- Confirm that the offer applies to the 43-inch Air, not a larger model.
- Check the TV finance term, upfront payment and total amount payable.
- Check the Essential TV price, minimum term and renewal pricing.
- Confirm your broadband speed and data allowance.
- Review delivery charges and any return fee.
- Remove or price optional UHD, Dolby Atmos, sports, cinema and streaming upgrades.
- Read the cancellation and early-termination terms for both the subscription and credit agreement.
- Make sure the £21 calculation is still displayed in the live checkout.
Bottom line: the offer was a real and eye-catching launch calculation, but it is best understood as £6 monthly TV finance plus a conditional £15 Sky subscription—not as an all-in, forever price. It can be good value for a broadband-connected household that wants Sky built into a new 43-inch television, provided the long finance commitment and extra costs are acceptable.
