The web-series video most likely meant by “Seth Rogen rolling a joint” is Merry Jane’s Rolling With Rogen | HOW WE ROLL. Merry Jane identifies it as a series produced by Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures and presents the episode as a joint-rolling tutorial. It is separate from a how-to video he posted on Instagram in 2020.
Which video is the web series?
Merry Jane’s page, “Rolling With Rogen | HOW WE ROLL”, is the closest match to a search for Seth Rogen rolling a joint in a web series. The page describes the series as produced by Point Grey Pictures and frames the episode as “How to roll a joint.” The page is undated, so a publication year for this episode is not established.
How it differs from Rogen’s 2020 Instagram video
Rogen also posted a separate joint-rolling video on Instagram. TheWrap reported on April 1, 2020 that it was filmed at his personal rolling station and captioned, “Here’s how I roll a joint.” That post is a distinct social-media video, not the Merry Jane web-series episode. TheWrap’s report covers the Instagram post.
What Rogen has said about rolling
The Merry Jane page presents the episode as a tutorial, but it does not provide a verified transcript of the episode’s steps or an itemized supply list. In a separate first-person how-to for Interview Magazine, published March 29, 2023, Rogen lists a grinder, rolling papers, a tip or filter, and cannabis among the supplies. He also recommends working on a smooth surface, naming the Houseplant All-in-One Rolling Tray as one example. These details come from that article, not a confirmed transcript of the series episode. Rogen’s stated preferences
In a March 25, 2025 Esquire interview, Rogen described preferring a joint that is “very, like, cylindrical,” with a filter. He said he rolls his own to get the particular kind he wants, and identified brown rice paper as his choice. Those are his personal preferences, not universal instructions or a named-brand endorsement. Esquire’s interview provides that context.

What to take away
- The likely web-series match is Merry Jane’s Rolling With Rogen | HOW WE ROLL, produced by Point Grey Pictures.
- Rogen’s April 2020 Instagram post is a separate video, not another title for the Merry Jane episode.
- Rolling papers are the clearest physical product associated with the tutorial context; Rogen’s separate how-to also discusses a grinder, a tip or filter, and a smooth rolling surface.
- The cited sources establish no third-party brand endorsement beyond Rogen naming his own Houseplant tray as an example.
