His Operator was part of the premium reward track, announced at 1,100 COD Points—not the free track. The “iconic laugh” came from the teaser that hinted at his arrival; the available announcements do not establish that it was an in-game voice line.
What happened in the High Art event
Activision announced High Art as a limited-time event across Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. Players earned XP in those modes to progress through event rewards. The scheduled event window was May 1–15, 2025, and has passed.
The announcement described Rogen’s Operator appearance as a colorful jacket and tie with black-rimmed glasses. His “Fired Up” Operator Skin was an instant unlock on the premium track; “Host Rogen” was that track’s ultimate mastery reward.
Free and premium rewards were different
| Track | Announced cost | Notable rewards |
|---|---|---|
| Free | No premium-track COD Points cost | Goblin Mk2 7.62 Mini-Rocket Conversion, Stone “Casual Ops” skin, Seth Rogen-themed cosmetics, and a one-hour Double Battle Pass XP token; completing the track unlocked the Ladra SMG. |
| Premium | 1,100 COD Points, as announced in 2025 | “Fired Up” Seth Rogen Operator Skin as an instant unlock, followed by “Host Rogen” as the ultimate mastery reward. Other rewards included “Glazed Out” and “Flameware” weapon blueprints, the “Missed ‘Em” Finishing Move, a Calling Card, Emote, Large Decal, Gunscreen, and a one-hour Double XP token. |
The free track included Rogen-themed cosmetics, but the Operator skins were listed as premium-track rewards. The event announcement does not establish that the Operator was free.

What the teaser’s laugh does—and does not—confirm
In a clip posted April 28, 2025, Jay and Silent Bob appeared to be playing Call of Duty, followed by a player named “CanadianSmokeMonster” and Rogen’s recognizable laugh. GameSpot reported on April 29 that the laugh hinted at Rogen’s involvement; Activision subsequently confirmed him as part of High Art. That teaser context is separate from the confirmed game rewards: the sources do not say the laugh was included as an in-game line or explain how it might play during the Operator experience.
