The series is Secret Level, an adult animated anthology from Deadpool director Tim Miller and Blur Studio. Rather than adapting one game as a continuous series, it tells 15 original stories set in video game worlds. Prime Video lists Season 1, and Blur Studio says the series debuted there on December 10, 2024.
What is Secret Level?
Prime Video describes Secret Level as an adult animated anthology featuring original stories set within the worlds of popular video games. Its listing identifies 15 episodes, each presented as an individual celebration of games and gamers. Blur Studio likewise describes the project as 15 original episodes drawing on new games, existing titles, indie games and classics.
That anthology format matters: the premise is not a single plotline that carries one game’s story across a season. Each episode is its own story connected to a game world. The official listing establishes the format and episode count, but does not provide enough detail here for a reliable episode-by-episode account of how each story uses its source material.
Which game worlds were reported?
In an August 14, 2024 report, Kotaku, citing Deadline, named Spelunky, New World and unspecified PlayStation titles as possible inclusions. Those examples were reported before the series debuted and should be treated as early possibilities, not as a complete or definitive list confirmed by the available official series descriptions.

The official Prime Video and Blur Studio descriptions confirm the anthology’s broad scope, but the information cited here does not confirm those specific game titles or identify every world featured. It would therefore be misleading to present the early report’s examples as the show’s full lineup.
Who made the series, and when did it arrive?
Tim Miller, known for directing Deadpool, is central to the project alongside Blur Studio. ScreenRant coverage published August 15, 2024, described it as an adult animated anthology led by Miller and Blur. Blur Studio states that Secret Level debuted on Prime Video on December 10, 2024.
