Yes. On July 2, 2025, a federal jury acquitted Sean Combs of racketeering conspiracy and two sex-trafficking counts, but convicted him on two counts of transporting people for prostitution under the Mann Act. He was not acquitted of every charge in the federal case.
What was Sean Combs acquitted of?
The jury found Combs not guilty of the racketeering-conspiracy charge and both sex-trafficking counts. The verdict was count-specific: the acquittals applied to those charges, not to the entire indictment.

Combs: “The jury agreed with Combs about the sex-trafficking and racketeering charges, acquitting him on both. What was he convicted of?
The jury found Combs guilty on two counts of transporting people for prostitution under the Mann Act. Those convictions were separate from the racketeering and sex-trafficking charges on which he was acquitted. The verdict record lists guilty findings on Counts 3 and 5 and not-guilty findings on Counts 1, 2 and 4. See the docket entries recording the verdict.

How the case proceeded after the verdict
- September 2024: The government indicted Combs on Mann Act, sex-trafficking and racketeering-conspiracy charges, according to the later district court opinion.
- July 2, 2025: The jury returned its split verdict: guilty on two Mann Act counts and not guilty on the racketeering-conspiracy and sex-trafficking counts.
- September 30, 2025: Judge Subramanian denied Combs’s renewed motion for acquittal and motion for a new trial. That ruling did not change the jury’s verdict.
- October 3, 2025: The docket records imposition of a 50-month prison sentence.

What the verdict does—and does not—mean
The indictment set out allegations by the government; it was not a finding of guilt. The jury’s acquittals mean Combs was found not guilty on the racketeering-conspiracy and sex-trafficking counts. Its guilty verdicts apply to the two Mann Act counts. The district court’s later denial of post-verdict motions left the jury’s verdict in place at that stage of the case.
The docket materials cited here record an appeal notice filed on October 20, 2025, but do not establish what happened in the appeal afterward. They therefore do not support saying the convictions were affirmed or reversed, or describing the appeal’s present status.
