The complaint alleges sexual harassment, physical aggression, coercion and forced compliance with degrading sexual acts. Those are allegations in a civil lawsuit, not findings by a court; the sources available do not establish the case’s current procedural status.
Who is Kirk Burrowes?
Burrowes and Combs were business partners at Bad Boy Entertainment. News reports describe Burrowes as a co-founder and former president of the record label. The reported complaint is rooted in that business relationship and concerns alleged events in the 1990s.

What does the lawsuit allege?
Burrowes’s attorney reportedly filed an 18-page complaint in New York on February 28, 2025. As described in reporting, it alleges unwanted sexual advances, exposure to nudity and sexual exhibitionism, physical coercion, and sexual abuse associated with the parties’ business relationship.
The phrase “forced compliance with degrading sexual acts” refers to Burrowes’s allegations about coercion and sexual acts. It is not a court’s conclusion that the conduct occurred. The claims should be understood as allegations in a civil pleading unless and until established through the legal process.

- From music mogul to controversy, Sean Combs' life is full of highs and lows, but the central mystery remains: What did Diddy do?
How has Combs’s legal team responded?
PEOPLE, in a statement relayed by AOL, reported this response from Combs’s legal team: “This latest lawsuit filed by Kirk Burrowes, filed by none other than Tyrone Blackburn, is another frivolous attempt to re-litigate claims that have been repeatedly thrown out of court over the past 30 years.” This is the team’s characterization; the reporting reviewed does not independently verify its account of prior cases.
Is this the same as Burrowes’s case against Janice Combs?
No. Reports describe a separate lawsuit by Burrowes against Janice Combs concerning his claimed 25% ownership interest in Bad Boy Entertainment. That ownership dispute is distinct from the sexual-misconduct complaint against Sean Combs, and the reported ownership stake remains a claim rather than an established finding here.
