Marvel’s Captain America: Brave New World footage at San Diego Comic-Con 2024 was an exclusive Hall H presentation—not the same video as the official teaser released online on July 12. Attendee reports said the new material connected Adamantium to the fallen Celestial from Eternals, showed President Thaddeus Ross urging Sam Wilson to rebuild the Avengers, and ended with Ross becoming Red Hulk.
What Marvel presented at Hall H
At its July 26, 2024 Hall H presentation, Marvel brought Anthony Mackie, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez and Giancarlo Esposito on stage, with Harrison Ford also appearing. Disney’s event recap said the group presented exclusive footage from Captain America: Brave New World; Disney identified Esposito as Sidewinder and Ford as making his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut as President Thaddeus Ross. The descriptions of what followed come from outlets reporting on footage shown to attendees, not from an official Marvel transcript. ComicBook.com and Gizmodo reported additional story and action details, including Sam Wilson and Joaquin Torres flying together, a compromised circle around Ross, and Ross transforming into Red Hulk during a public appearance. How the Hall H footage differed from the online teaser
Marvel released an official teaser online on July 12, 2024. It introduced Sam Wilson’s meeting with the newly elected President Ross and the international incident that draws Sam into a global plot. The July 26 Hall H footage was described as exclusive to the audience in the room and as adding details beyond that earlier teaser. The reporting reviewed here does not establish that the exclusive presentation was later released officially online.

What the reported footage revealed about the story
Adamantium and the fallen Celestial
Attendee accounts said the footage tied the fallen Celestial mass left by Eternals to a struggle over its resources, and introduced Adamantium as a new element in the MCU. The film’s promotional material establishes the international-incident premise, while the specific Celestial and Adamantium details come from the reporters’ descriptions of the Hall H footage. They should be understood as reported scenes, not a published Marvel synopsis.
Sam, Ross and the Avengers
According to the footage reports, Ross referred to the “new element,” asked Sam to rebuild the Avengers and acknowledged that the group would likely disagree. The exchange set up a tension between Sam, the new Captain America, and a president seeking to shape the team. The accounts describe what attendees saw; they do not provide an official transcript.

Red Hulk and the action
Gizmodo’s scene-by-scene account said the footage showed Sam and Joaquin Torres, the Falcon, in flight, alongside action sequences and signs that Ross’s inner circle had been compromised. It reportedly culminated in Ross transforming into Red Hulk at a public appearance. These are descriptions of the Hall H presentation, not evidence that the full footage became a public trailer.
