Samsung TV Plus announced a partnership with Dhar Mann Studios to produce 13 original episodes for its Dhar Mann TV channel, alongside a wider rollout of dedicated channels for popular online creators. The announcement, published July 28, 2025, described a staged launch—not an immediate, universal debut for every channel or episode.
What Samsung announced
The announcement combined two related plans: a 13-episode original-content agreement with Dhar Mann Studios and an expansion of Samsung TV Plus’s creator-focused channel lineup. Samsung said creator channels would arrive “in the coming months,” while the new Dhar Mann episodes were expected later in 2025. The announcement did not give specific premiere dates. What the Dhar Mann deal includes
The stated production commitment is 13 original episodes for the Dhar Mann TV channel. Samsung described them as scripted, uplifting, family-oriented short dramas and said the partnership would bring this programming to its free, ad-supported service.

The announcement does not provide episode titles, runtimes, a release calendar, contract length, or detailed exclusivity terms. “Dhar Mann TV” is a FAST channel—a television-style streaming destination—not necessarily a conventional subscription series.

Samsung named these creators for dedicated TV Plus channels:
- Mark Rober
- Michelle Khare
- Smosh
- The Try Guys
- Epic Gardening
- The Sorry Girls
- Donut Media
Samsung highlighted Mark Rober’s science, engineering, educational, and entertainment videos, describing him at announcement time as a former NASA engineer and citing nearly 70 million subscribers. That subscriber figure was Samsung’s point-in-time description, not a current count or a measure of Samsung TV Plus viewership.

The announcement also cited an existing creator roster that included Mythical, MrBeast, Hot Ones, Conan O’Brien, and David Letterman. The new channels are not all described as original-production deals: the specific 13-episode commission is for Dhar Mann. Samsung’s combined-subscribership figure of more than 175 million referred to the creators’ audiences as presented by Samsung, not to TV Plus users or guaranteed viewers.
Why put creator videos on TV channels?
FAST means free ad-supported streaming television. Viewers do not pay a subscription fee, advertising supports the service, and programming is delivered over the internet. Many FAST channels run scheduled, linear-style programming, though services can also offer on-demand titles.

Samsung’s strategy is to organize creator catalogs into channels that people can watch in a more lean-back, television-like way. For creators, that offers another route to connected-TV audiences beyond social-video feeds. For viewers, it can make familiar catalogs easier to discover on a large screen, but a scheduled channel is less direct than searching for a particular video.
What viewers should expect
- No subscription, but ads: Samsung describes TV Plus as free and ad-supported. An internet connection is required. Samsung’s TV Plus support page
- Channel-style viewing: A dedicated channel may present a programmed stream rather than a selectable collection of every video. The announcement does not specify how much of each creator’s catalog will be available on demand.
- Different content, different audiences: Dhar Mann’s scripted dramas differ from Mark Rober’s STEM videos, comedy from Smosh, automotive programming from Donut Media, gardening, and lifestyle content. Samsung’s broad family-oriented description of Dhar Mann’s work is not a guarantee about the suitability of every episode.
- Not every creator has a stated new commission: The announcement specifically identifies Dhar Mann’s 13 original episodes; it does not say the other creators received comparable orders.
How to watch Samsung TV Plus
Samsung’s U.S. materials list access on Samsung TVs, Galaxy phones and tablets, Smart Monitors, Family Hub products, and the web. Exact device and channel availability can vary by market. Samsung’s U.S. support page says TV Plus is available on 2016-and-newer Samsung Smart TVs and projectors in select areas; its U.S. Galaxy support page specifies Galaxy phones and tablets running Android 8.0 or later. - Search the local channel guide for “Dhar Mann,” “Mark Rober,” or the creator you want to watch.
- Check the channel’s program details for its current schedule; the 2025 announcement is not a current channel listing.
- If a channel is missing, check your region, device compatibility, and internet connection before assuming the partnership was canceled.
Samsung’s support materials differ in how they describe Samsung-account requirements. Account needs may depend on the device, software, market, and features being used, so check the instructions for your particular setup rather than assuming an account is always required—or never required.

Samsung announced the rollout in July 2025 as something that would happen over the following months, with the Dhar Mann episodes planned for later that year. That timing does not establish which channels or episodes are live now in a particular country. Samsung says channels can change or disappear without notice, so the local TV Plus guide is the practical check for current availability. Samsung support
