While supporting Taylor Swift on the Australian leg of the Eras Tour, Sabrina Carpenter said on 26 February 2024 that an Australian headline tour was “very much happening.” She also hinted that Western Australia could be considered, but said she had no dates and that it was something for her managers to look into. That was an expression of intent—not confirmation of a WA show.
What Sabrina Carpenter said about returning to Australia
Carpenter made the remarks during a Today Show interview and Q&A in Australia. Asked whether she would return with her own tour, she said: “My managers are looking at me with like a smile.” She then added: “So yes, yes, that is very much happening — just being able to be here performing for technically the first time this weekend has just made me want to come back ASAP, it is so, so good.” PerthNow reported the exchange; The Music transcribed a shorter version: “My managers are looking at me with a smile – so yes.”

The wording varies slightly between reports, so the two versions should not be combined into a single quote. Both describe a plan to return to Australia for a headline tour, not an announced itinerary.
Did she confirm a Western Australia show?
No. PerthNow reported that Carpenter also hinted at Western Australia and New Zealand, but said she did not have dates. She described those locations as something for her managers to look into. That makes WA a possibility she raised, not a confirmed stop, venue or booking.

The distinction matters: saying a tour is planned in principle does not establish when it will happen or where it will go. Her remarks gave fans a reason to hope for a WA date, but they did not announce one.
What is known about tour dates now?
The available reports do not establish a definitive official Australian or WA date as of 8 October 2026. A Who’s article published on 8 July 2025 still described an Australian tour as unannounced and tickets as not on sale at that time. It mentioned a Ticketek waitlist and clues interpreted by fans; neither confirms dates or an itinerary, and that 2025 report cannot establish the status today.

For a current announcement, check Carpenter’s official website, the promoter’s announcement or an authorised ticket seller. Treat a waitlist, fan theory or social-media clue as unconfirmed unless an official announcement supplies the date and location.
