The clip follows Deadpool and Wolverine across the Void as Nickelback plays and Deadpool delivers a string of jokes and references. Reynolds described it as a rough montage that had never been seen before.
What happens in the deleted montage?
As reported by Cheryl Eddy at Gizmodo, the sequence shows Deadpool and Wolverine trudging through the Void’s landscape with Nickelback featured in the montage. Deadpool’s commentary touches on Wolverine and Jean Grey, Matthew McConaughey’s 2003 film Tiptoes, his own unreliability as a narrator, Thor crying and high-quality hair extensions. The report also describes a piggyback ambush and a joke about phrases sounding better in an Australian accent.

How did Reynolds describe the clip?
Reynolds’ caption, quoted by Gizmodo, called it: “An abandoned, half-baked, quasi-edited and never-before-seen-for-good-reason montage featuring the greatest rock band on earth? ‘Kay.” The wording frames the clip as a deliberately rough, discarded piece rather than a finished scene.
Is this montage included with the home release?
Not according to the available listings. Marvel Japan’s official product page lists Blu-ray, DVD and 4K UHD editions and describes bonus content for Blu-ray, but it does not identify this specific Nickelback montage as an extra. The editions and bonus features can vary by region, so check the local product listing if you are looking for related behind-the-scenes material.
