A net-worth estimate is not the same as a salary report, a career’s gross earnings, or an official financial statement. For example, Celebrity Net Worth reports that Michael Fishman earned around $100,000 per episode for the 2018 revival. That is a reported episode salary, not an estimate of his total wealth, and it should not be substituted for the $8 million estimate.

How The Conners fits into the cast picture
The 2018 continuation was not simply the original cast under the same title. Time reported on June 22, 2018, that ABC’s spin-off The Conners would feature Goodman, Metcalf, Gilbert, Goranson, and Fishman in their original characters. Barr had no financial or creative involvement, according to ABC’s statement as reported by Time.
